A place for better education

No doubt it's one of the best private engineering colleges in West Bengal. The college is too much strict which good and bad too. The thing I hate most of our college, the campus environment is like school not college. Students can't enter the college after 9:30 am, can't leave before 4:30 pm, can't access library on the class time.

Course curriculum is good. The main department of college is the BTech part. I'm a BTech student and our course duration is of 4 years. For Management and Biotechnology students the duration is of 3 years

This year 90% are placed. Highest package is of 35 lac/ annum. 3 students got package of 8-10 lac/annum. Average package is 2.5-3 lac/ annum. CSE department got good placements. Our college does not provide internship.

ESTASCIA is our cultural event. It's the stage for UEM students to show their talent in arts. Tech Fest for showcasing inventory ability of students. During the tech Fest students of our college and other colleges participate.

For BTech student total fee is 60000×8 = 480000. And with this 1000 for exam registration for every sem. So 8000 extra. Total fees 560000. This rate is High if you compare this with other same quality colleges

If students who got 95%+ in 10+2 then there is 50% scholarship in fees. For 90%+ students 30% scholarship and for 85%+ students 25% scholarship. There is no other scholarship provided by college. The scholarship is only on semester fees.

College has a basketball ball ground. And a ground for football and cricket too. There are yearly cricket and football tournaments. But college does not give too much space for extra curricular activities. Labs are good but no labs have ac in it

Seniors are too much helpful. They guide us in a friendly way. We learn from their mistakes. And having these helpful seniors is like getting extra faculty support. Seniors and juniors have a very friendly relation. Ragging is prohibited and our seniors proved that a ragging-free engineering college is possible.

I got admission without any hassle because of my 12th marks. I got 85% marks and cut off was 70-75%. Many students got selected in the Entrance exam IEMJEE which is the common JEE for UEM Jaipur and Kolkata branch

There are some facilities who are highly educated and highly able to teach. And there are some low qualified and low experienced faculties too. Mainly the lab faculties are not good enough. Some faculties are very friendly.
