The title is good

Positive : The college conducts many programmes and seminars for students to enrich their knowledge. It even conducts co curricular activities for overall holistic development of the students. It also arrange an excursion and picnic once in a year for the students. Negative : The college doesn't has a proper playground for outdoor games. It only has an indoor play area and basketball court which isn't enough.

The course is very nice for people who have interest in finance, taxation or audit. It offers a great and diverse knowledge about different commerce subjects and is the best course for graduation in commerce stream. Our college is affiliated to Calcutta University (CU) and exams are governed and conducted by CU. Our university offers a Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) course with exams under semester system. There are 6 semesters in for three years graduation course with 2 semesters each year consisting of four papers in each semester for 100 marks in each paper (80 marks on exam and 20 marks on internal assessment).

Our college also provides placements and it offers placements for students in vast areas with a good amount of package. Many of the MNCs come for our campus placement. Our college has a placement cell which manages and fulfill student's dream by bringing their dream company in campus placement.

Our college celebrates very kind of national events like Independence Day, Gandhi Jayanti and Republic Day with a function ahead of the programme. Our college also celebrates Saraswati Puja and distributes prasad on that day. Our college also has an annual fest of three days which featues some great talents from the college and even features celebrities from Bollywood. This fest is a musical and cultural event and is named as UMANG whixh is very famous across Kolkata. Students from other colleges pay very high to get the passes for this event.

As it is a private college, so keeping that in mind we can say that the fees is not quite high and feasible. For 1 year the fees is around Rs 45000 for B.Com (Hons). For middle class families, the fees is affordable because even I belong to a middle class family.

There is no kind of loan facility provided by our college but as our college is a gujarati run minority college, so our college offers 50% or more scholarship to gujarati students. Even our college gives scholarships based on grades. If anyone has scored more than 90% marks in his class 12th then he can get a scholarship of 80-90%

Our college organises various sports, seminars on different topics and fields , workshops and many other activities for overall holistic development of the students. Our college also has different clubs and each club has a different vision and motive and work for a nice cause in the society. Students can even join their favorite clubs free of cost.

No, there is no kind of connection with any alumni students but seniors help and guide sometimes. Seniors guide us in managing the work for college clubs because thay are the heads and motivate us to do work for a good cause, whether it be food distribution among hunger kids or planting of trees or plants for green environment or making aware amon people for use of renewable energy to save our mother earth.

When I got my result for class 12th then I applied for my college by filling online admission form and submitting my 12th marksheet and other related documents. After that my name appeared on the merit list for admission and got a deadline for the payment of my college fees. After payment of my college fees, I got the appointment for my document verification by my college. After successfully verifying my documents, I got my ID card and got admitted in the college. The whole admission process was online except the document verification, for which the college called us for one day.

The faculty is enough and helpful for students. They are well knowledgeable and have a deep knowledge in their respective subjects. Many faculties even hold a professional degree such as CA, CS, CFA, CMA etc.
