Remarks
The biggest positive is that it is located in the city of Pune which is one of the biggest hubs in India for IT companies which are the major shareholders for giving placements to engineering students.The major negative is that there are very fow local student colleagues with whom we can explore the city.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is neither very old nor very new. The exam structure for 1st year is completely theory based. There are 60 marks exams per subject. The subjects are almost same in 1st year.total there are 6-7 exams each semester
Placement Experience
The opportunities for placements depend on the branch which the student wants to pursue. The general trend from the last few years is that those who have enrolled in CS ,IT ,ENTC have higher placement records as compared to other branches. Yes the college does provide chances for Internships through platforms such as Internshala.
College Events
There are several events organised in the college throughout the academic year. Some organized by college and most of them handled by the student governing clubs itself.The events range from cultural to technical to sports with several celebrity chief guests of the respective fields
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure keeping in mind the city Pune along with the location of the college which is located in the city I quite feasible. The campus is filled with greenery all around and also includes several other colleges with varying fee structure
Fees and Financial Aid
The college has its own bank in the campus so money transfer is quiet easy. Few scholarship facilities are available on the basis of performances in several platforms. There are no scholarship on the basis of good marks on other entrance tests
Campus Life
The college has a hoge ground for various types of sports such as football , cricket, basketball, volleyball. Each department has its separate labs for performing practical experiments. Extracurriculars include several internship programs and college events.
Hostel Facilities
Yes I have opted for hostel. For boys the hostel is only far 1st year. For girls it Is available for all 4 years. The boys hostel infrastructure is average and mess facility is also available with living.
Alumni/Alumna
The senior students are quiet helpful, friendly and caring and do not make us feel like we are juniors.The alumni's also keep coming to college and they are always in touch with us for giving us proper guidance on how to enjoy and utilise college days
Admission
I gave the entrance test in my home city and on the basis of my ranking in the merit list I got admission.there are more than 50 centers this year all over India where students can give entrance test to seek admission.
Faculty
The faculty of the college is quite a mixed lot from modern teachers to old school type teachers. So e are very experienced and some have just started teaching. Overall it is a good lot of teachers for education ,support and guidance
