Likes

Facultues is just awesome. They are very helping in our studious things
An advanced classrooms with good working projector
College atmosphere and programmws are very good

Dislikes

Lack of break times for entertainments and others
There is no lifts in civil engineering and mechanical blocks
Cant use library as a day scholar as there is no time fof it

Course Curriculum Overview

Oru curriculum is bit worse Theory subjects and lab are not parallel in some semesters. It is a difficulty we faced in our curriculum. Less lab hours and training is a bit risk in our future. So make lab and theory parallel and providd more lab hours for our skill enhancement

Scms school of engineering and technology. Per year 50000 expcept exam fees sports fee other fees. Records and materilas money i should take I am atudyng by esuxational.loan Based on my 12th grade percentage 10000 is off for my tutuon fees

Campus Life

No i dont think so We cant even participate because it woll leads to attendance shirtage. Day scholars had difficilties in stay backing in college so they cant take part in programmes after the regular class time

Admission

Faculty and a good working private college compared to other and fees for civil engineering is too low here so i prefered this collge over other collleges. Bettwr atmosphere for studenrs it is an important factor

Faculty

Faculty of civil department is just awesome and they helps us to improve a lot in our Btech programme. They teach things in a brilliant and effective manner so we are just enjoying and understanding each and every topics.

Night Life

I am a day scholar so i dont kow about all of these As per my freids talkings ots strict as 1st year after that it will became liable to all Gyms are there sports everything is there Night life is restricted

OUR COLLEGE LIFE

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Is engineering here worth it?

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA

If you want to be in a controlled environment, focus on academics, make use of some good placement opportunities, and get somewhere career-wise I would be suggesting Amrita University.

College admission is purely based on our entrance score and the way we given the priority of college to get admission in college of engineering thalassery qe should attend keam entrance exam otherwise you can get into the management seats which will costs 1lakh per year.
