Less you pay, more you get

There is lack of infrastructure in our college. I think our college provide full freedom to students. There is no ban on smoking, drinking alcohol unside the campus. Our tools of workshops are not get renewed with time.

Curriculum is good. As this college rank is 14 as per NIRF, now you can think,how is the college. There are 2 semesters in each year and 2 tests before each semester.There is 30% weightage of test in result of semester and rest 80% for sems.

Placements is good. If you consider computer science department,they have excellent placement record with 100% placement with avg. Package of 20 lpa as ler data of last year. Also for ETCE, around 12lpa.And for core departments, you will get 60% placement in core jobs. Avg package of my department is 6.5lpa asp per last year record

Sanskriti- our cultfest Srijan- our tech fest Also there is techfest department wise also. Like for mechanical, we have Trajectory as our tech fest. Also for electrical,its convolution and for chemical department,its chemathlon.

Very less fee. I am paying this college only INR 2450 per year. Very cheap. It is less than exam fee of any NITs and IITs. Also we have to pay only INR 65 as exam fee. Its feasible form me. And i am happy for my college at least its not burden for my parents.

There are alumni scholarship provided by our alumni association. They provide full fees of college. As we charge less fees you will not have to take any kind of loan. If you really want loan, we have SBI bank in our college, they can provide you loan without any collateral.

We have our own volleyball ground, basketball ground,long tennis ground and a large area of field for playing cricket or football. You will really enjoy the environment of sports. Currently our JU Falcons team of American football wins in inter college competition.

We live like brothers with seniors and juniors. They are very helpful at the time of examination or any type of problem. Alumni network of Jadavpur University is much better. Recently our alumni from California provide us fund to college.

At first, i had given WBJEE exam. By getting a good rank of 440, i filled up counseling form as well and filled choice of departments according to my choice. Then reached counseling centre, after getting a seat in Mechanical. Then locked my seat. Afrer that 2 more rounds of counseling happen but i got mechanical, as this is my third choice. Then my college noticed us to come in college and complete admission procedure. We have to take our all marksheets of previous academics , income certificate and passing certificate. Then they issued me a admission receipt.

Best faculty. Professors vs student ratio is much better.very cooperative towards their students. All have done their PhD from deemed institution of india as well as some from college outside india. If you want to do research in any engineering field, this is the best college for you.
