Life at NIT Jaipur

If you enter the college you are really going to make best memories. These will be the best 4 years of your life. The campus is huge and beautiful. The location of the college is best. Railway station is 2 km. Away. Airport is 4 km away. Jaipur is best as it has historical monument and forts which you can visit on weekends. Being the metro city everything is online.

B.Tech has now become a fashion. with so many private engineering colleges it has lost its reputation. But thats not the case in IIT OR NIT'S these have still maintain the dignity of an engineering degree.

Talking about placement many companies visit the campus whole year. Every Branch's core company came to campus. And most of the software company coming in the campus are open to all. If your branch is CS,EC or electrical many companies visit the campus for internship with stipend as high as 1 lakh per month and some also offer the PPO.

Many events are celebrated in college. For the odd semester there is department day, fresher's, scholars cup, AIAMBT, sphinx (college fest technical).For the even sem we have sports meet, youth festival, blitzslag, MST, holi celeration.

Fee structure is as per the MHRD rules. Tution fee is income based. Based on the income of the family you gave the tution fees. In the starting you deposit some amount as caution money which is refunded back after completion of your course. The fees is submitted semester wise.

For the NIT one can easily get education loans and the intereste rates are also low compared to other private college. I would suggest to apply for loan through vidhyalaxmi portal as you can get the loan instantly and also could get additional benefit.

College have huge campus of 340 acers. Mountains are available nearby for tracking. Huge play ground for football and cricket. 3 volleyball court. 2 basketball courts. Many sports events are also organized to promise students participation. One can access these facility easily.

MNIT has huge alumni network which are always ready to help whenever one ask them. There is alumni meet every year where alumni from various profession and places came to meets the students. Senior are also approachable. Infact students senior and Junior are residing in the same hostel and have common mess. There is no ragging.

I gave the jee main entrance exam conducted by CBSE in the year 2015 which is given by approximately 13 lakhs students and around top 1.5 lakh became elegible for jee advance. During my time 12th bord percentage was also included to find the rank. You fill your choices of college and branches and get the college based on your rank.

The faculty of the college is very friendly. They make an joyful atmosphere in the classroom. During the first year you are mixed up and from the second year onwards the classes are separated streamwise. Most of the faculty reside within the campus which are approachable.
