A review to JSPM UNIVERSITY!

I choosed computer engineering because I love codings and have good knowledge and skills about it. And even college provided me good knowledge about languages such as C language, python language and etc. For 6 months 1 Sem lasts and if any one fails they have chance to give retest by paying 500/- for each subject after 15 days of results. This result is shown on MIS portal. This portal is only accesses able to the student,parents and faculty of JSPM UNIVERSITY. Hall ticket, fees paid and other information related to college appears on that portal. It is easy to access. 6-7 pm they do maintenance. So it is not able to access at 6-7 pm. After that we can access any time.

College provides 2 internships in 4 years. The first internship is unpaid. It is only for experience and learning purpose. College have collaboration with IBM Company so they provide paid internship through them In the 5th sem. The stipend is nearly 5k to 12k. It is performance based.

After 5th Sem students get placements. The students have 7 CGPA and more than 7 get placed to companies like IBM, MNC, TCS,Delloite and many more. They visit college after every 6 months. And select the candidates who are well skilled and have good knowledge of their degree. After completing this degree my plan is to get job at good position with that I'm going to run buisness.The companies provided part time, work from home and many other to students so that students can study with their jobs.

The fees structure is 175000 for per year. This includes all tuition fees. For this course caste category doesn't matter. For BCA & BSC fees are 75000 per year. Merits required are 50%+ for any course. The campus is huge and worthy. Have well developed and good management.

Freshers are held in every year and all students of all years participate in this. This is the largest festival of campus. There is gym and club house for students residing their in the hostel. Their are cricket matches with huge amount of prizes. Yoga lecture is taken by faculty once in every week.

I applied to many engineering colleges near me such as Dhole Patil College of Engineering, Wadia College,Raisoni College and AIIMS but I was not selected due to caste category. I'm from general category.But JSPM UNIVERSITY didn't focused on category. In the first meet only they accepted my admission. The process was too easy. Only 10th,12th mark sheet, 2 photographs,aadhar card and PAN Card was required. In the starting I paid 50000/- total fees are 175000/-

The facility pays attention to every student. There are 60 students in one class and 1 class teacher for each class. Each class is divided into 3 sub groups, each sub group have 20 students and 1 GFM(Guardian Facility Member) they help students in each and every problem related to studies and related to college. To get eligible for Sem Examinations 75% attendance is mandatory. Every weeks updates are given to parents. In Every Sem there are 2 Unit Test and 1 End Sem Exam. There are good labs and class rooms for studying and even silent and clean library for study purpose.

The interview is taken by one of the faculty. It is easy. They ask basic questions related to the fields. Also asked questions related to 12th and general knowledge. Only 1 round is taken. After admission 1 week of induction program goes on. It is all about the revision of 12th and introduction of 1st year of the degree and about the college and its amenities.

There are no activities in night only students can visit to cafeteria for dinner purpose. No boys are allowed in campus after 9 pm in campus as it is only girls hostel. No girls are allowed to leave or enter campus after 9pm. Campus is fully surrounded with male and female bodyguards.
