Remarks
The management doesn't heed to entirely to the wishes of the students and impose a lot of unnecessary rules.a person who enters the college cannot exit the college without an gate pass issues either by the hostel warden or an HOD.at times the security doesn't even let the parents enter the college premises who came early morning to pick up their ward from the hostel.
Course Curriculum Overview
The university we follow is the kerala technogical univery.the course is so set that it follows some programme educational objectives and programme specific outcomes. The exam structure consists of 2-3 internals per sem where your internal marks are calculated according to how you score in those exams, then a final end semester exam is held.
Placement Experience
The college does have an placement cell that is dedicated on placing the students in prominent companies that have ties to the college, companies like infosys,tcs etc are our main placment companies.the placement traing programs starts from the second year for improving communication skills.the college does not provide internships.
College Events
Only the bare necessary events are only held, and they are no fun at all.in regards of the events/activities held in the college the management does not support the students wishes.they hold an techfest,artsfest,union day(half day program only),farewell,sports day.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee's structure is roughly about 75,000 per an academic year. scholarships are also rewarded to students with good academic grades and low family income.several department have different fee's structure.
Fees and Financial Aid
Their is an scholarship system available in Viswajothi College of engineering and technology for students who deserves it.the scholarships awarded are based on their marks and their annual fanily incomes.
Campus Life
Their are 4 grounds(1 football court,2 basketball court and 1 cricket court).the students are allowed to play in the grounds after classes until 6:30pm. No equipments is provided by the college.no other extracurricular activites are held.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel infrastructure is okay, but it could be more better, the facilities are also okay, they provide good food which is the main feature of the hostel(mens only).the students should enter the hostel before 7 pm and after 9pm no one is allowed to talk to each other and to use their phones.
Alumni/Alumna
Occasionally they hold talk with old passout student to inform new students about the department they opt for and about the job possibilities available later on. Everything is explained to the students.
Admission
I enquired about the availability of seats in the college by calling them, then they told me to come to the college with my educational certificates.then they had an open merit system where a open merit rank was given to each person based on their marks, and then their preferred department is given if their is availability.
Faculty
The faculty of our college consists of more than a 100 personals that are placed in each department. Each departments have their own lab(s) that also has faculty members dedicated for maintaining and teaching purposes
