Ye it's a good college where no one can stop you if you work hard. There's opportunities everywhere in this college just you need to grab them and that entirety depends on you. You get good environment,good teaching staff who help you actually. What do you need more!
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is indeed good all subjects include GATE books and syllabus. Whatever is in the course will be taught by professor, no escape route for practicals you've to do it all by yourself which is indeed good
Placement Experience
Every year Companies start coming from Day 0 and goes on till Day 4. All you've to do is prepare to grab opportunity. Coding language helps alot during placements as company is mostly IT. Keep performing well academically
College Events
Kiit fest Various technical Fest Racing events Programming Events Basically almost every day of academic calendar there will be some fest or programme will be going on, it depends on you which event you've to attend
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee Structure is expensive for a middle class but looking at the infrastructure and facilities, it seems feasible and reasonable. You get wifi all over in the campus, there's a library branchwise which is open 24 hours & 7 days
Fees and Financial Aid
There's a loan certificate provided by the college and also there's a scholarship for branch toppers and 9 GPA holders it depends on your GPA and branch position. I don't know much about loan but scholarship scheme is great and it motivates students
Campus Life
In extra curricular activities college has its own gym (every gym is located near to every hostel as campus is large so there are many gyms), tennis courts, basketball court, swimming pool, Badminton Court, chess club, cricket club, football club. Each of these club has its own coach/trainer to guide players
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities and infrastructure is good, there's WiFi, filtered drinking water, mess is ground floor of hostel, Wardens are of helping nature, biometric system to check every student is in the hostel, there's CCTV in every floor of hostel and good thing is it works actually
Alumni/Alumna
Yes, seniors are very helpful they will tell you on the basis of your interest which path you should follow, from where you should intern, how to crack interviews of companies, which exam will be helpful, which portion of your course is important. Never ever mess with your seniors they will be the one only who will help you out during extreme circumstances
Admission
Firstly, I appeared KIITEE Exam, after a span of 15-20 days results were declared and I came to know that I cleared an Entrance Exam, then I was given a counselling date along with my Rank Card, duration between results and counselling date is 7-10 days, on the basis of my rank I got a counselling date and after I got Mechanical Branch on the basis of rank & seat availability. After admission process I was informed to pay fees and other important documents by the end of June, after this on the last week of July college started
Faculty
College Faculty have vast experience and knowledge about their course, anything be it your theory or project they will help you out if you ask them. Faculty is quite friendly, there's no need to be afraid of them. They never judge you
