Likes

The facilities provided by colleges like college buses
They providing hygienic food in canteen and also at hostel
Good faculties are provided for teaching and mentoring

Dislikes

Less number of college buses it increase rush
They are not providing non vegetables items
The college break is too short for taking rest

Course Curriculum Overview

I dont like chemistry and i also loved c program because i was a computer science student. I love to find solution for problems so i choose computer science as my career. Its much better than studying any other subjects.

Class Size: 66Course Fees: INR 85000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

If you are a student who got seat by merit you hsve to pay 85000 minimum per year. If yo are a NRI student you have to pay more than 1 lakh. Else if you are a sudent who got seat by management quota you may have some scholarships it depends on your mark but they also have to pay fee around one lakh. The college also providing some scholarship for the students who belongs to sc, st, obc and the students who are recieving such scholarships have to pay only less amount

Campus Life

My college life is so amazing the ambience, food, tutors, friends, mentors everyone is supporting us for scoring good marks. My college is accredited by nba. And my college is accredited by naac. Overall good experience.

Admission

I was at union Christian college. But that was too long from my home. So i decided to took admission from this college fortunately i got the admission and i am studying my favourite subject now. My college is gold

Faculty

The faculties are good. They actually taught very nicely. They helped and monitored us for svoring on our university exams. They actuslly providing some external activities like arts fest etc... They are good in behaviouring and teaching

Night Life

My college is providing pne canteen and two cafeteria where we can chill. My college is having a large wild library where we can take book for reading and also for studying. My college is also having a gym for caring health

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Is engineering here worth it?

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
