Honest review of NIT Srinagar

Here in Mechanical department, so many machinery are there so many lab like vibration lab ,IC engine lab are here which give so many practical knowledge, competition are also been conducted here, talking about fest cultural fest and technical fest is performed here

Internship opportunity are available here for 3rd year student, companies like Cummins, reliance, oracle comes here .Not much offers are here but students got referal or recommendation easily from Faculty members and senior for Internship

I my college placements are starts from 7 semester ,companies like HPCL GAIL BEL Tata Steel, oracle, aditya birla, rashmi metallics etc comes here previous year in my department highest package was 22LPA. PSU also come here

The semester wise fee i paid is 56 thousand where my tution fee is 0 because i am the student who have less than one lakh income per year,hostel fee is 8 thousand per semester , mess fee is 21 thousand, Institute fee is 10500.I got NSP scholarship annually

Techvaganza and rang-e-chinar are the major fest of NIT Srinagar. There are so many social groups and clubs here like Soapbox , Tedx, sargam,rhetorica , movie club, robonox ,sports and so many student clubs are there . in NIT Srinagar a there is a special social group which celebrate all the festivals like holi ,diwali etc in college only

In girls hostel ,8 sharing room is for 1st year ,5 sharing for 2nd year, 4 sharing room for 3rd year and 2 sharing for 4th year are available here , mess menu is decided by students only,hostel rooms are quite good

I got KNIT Sultanpur clg ECE branch ,but i choose NIT Srinagar Mechanical branch because it is a National institute and placements are campartively good here, for this I applied jee mains exam and after counseling i got NIT Srinagar Mechanical Department

Faculty to student ratio is quit Good, Faculties are Good easily approachable, Ved prakash sharma, Deepak Naik,Mohsin khan are some of the best faculties of my department, they help to guide .here in one semester 2 exam are majorly here mids and ends

Gym are available as student want in which all students have there shift at different to workout there. cafeteria, nescafe, canteen are here and for girls tuck shop is there near hostel only,and in time for girls are 9 pm
