Remarks
The college gives Hugh pressure to the students regarding assignment and other things maybe not that much important in respect to the course which we read.On a positive note the college gives a platform to the students to showcase their talents in any field.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is planned according to the AICTE rules and regulations.The curriculum is based on theory concepts more than practical knowledge.The exam pattern consists of mid semester which is of 25marks and end semester which is of 60marks.The rest 15 marks is based on class activities.
Placement Experience
Various Companies Come to the campus for recruiting students.First form is filled up. Then the company shortlist students from it.Then those students have to give the written exams.The selected students from the exams has to go through the interview procedure.Regarding internship the college provide different kind of course based on the streams.
College Events
There are several events organised in the college.Fest is organised once a year.Except from that several event take place throughout the year.Kiit organises the MUN which is one of the biggest in South East Asia and it's a high sucess.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees structure is little bit expensive in respect to other colleges.The educational fees is approx 1.5lacs and it increases every 2-3 yrs.The accomodation fees is different based on the type of accommodation we choose.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college personally provide any loan.But it arranges different banks who give loans to the students who are financially not that much stable.The college gives scholarship only to the students who are top rank holder in the entrance exam.
Campus Life
Kiit supports the students in extracurricular activities and anybody who is talented in any sports is guided by professionals and make them good enough to compete in national or higher levels.The labs are equipped with latest instruments which make it easy for the students to perform any task.But sometime the equipment got damaged due to misuse and we find it difficult to perform any task using that instrument.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facility depend on the type of accommodation we chose.Non ac hostels are good,Common bathroom is provided which is sometime clean, sometime dirty.Other facilities like food is ok.whereas in ac hostels the infrastructure and services are better than Non ac.
Alumni/Alumna
The seniors are very helpful and friendly.Right from taking admission in the college they have helped me.In first year we cannot go out of hostel along so we have to call the seniors and can go out with them only.So in this I got so much support from them.They also guided me in studies if I faced any difficulty.
Admission
First I have to fill up the examination form and submit it through post.After that entrance exam took place.The result were declared and according to the ranks students are called for counselling.In counseling students are asked to select their streams according to the seats available.
Faculty
The faculties of the college is well qualified.Each faculty is very much experienced in their respective fields.Maximum faculties are good in teaching and help the students regarding studies.But few of them are not that experienced in teaching.
