Burdwan Raj College review

I think I am studying in the best college , our college have a very good infrastructure, good faculty members , a good principle, a good location in the Middle of the town, a big ground to perform extracurricular activities, a gym for fitness training and good teachers who are guiding us to the right path of life. But the college have some bad qualities like the food incollege cantine is not very good and the college campus don't have many trees in it that's why it's too hot in here.

The course in our college is of 3 years which include 6 semester exam ,2 semester exam each year. In the first semester exam we have to give exam on 4 papers ,3 of the paper contain 75 marks and one paper contain 100 marks including 2 internal exams , 2nd semester also have 3 papers of 75 marks and one paper of 50 marks ,3rd and 4th semester have 5 papers each where 4 papers contain 75 marks and one paper contain 50 marks, and the 5th and 6th semester have 4 papers each and papers contain 75 marks, in this way our total course includes 3 years, 6 semesters , 26 papers, 2 internal exams in each semester means 12 enternal exams.

As our college is a general college so it doesn't give any internship but it have campussing facility. That's why when any company came to our college campus many deserving candidates who are eligible for work get their chance to show their skills and it also give the students opportunity to do extra curricular activities so the students can do much better in their future.

Each and ever Indian festible like saraswati puja, holi are celebrated in our College , apart from that our college organize a freshers party for the welcome of new students ,we also do social every year where we have lot of fun. Other than that our college organize many educational and social awareness seminar in our college for the students. College also organize a educational tour and excretion every year for the students.

The fees structure of our college is very reasonable. At the admission it take a amount of 2,500 as admission fees and 1st semester fees, after that they take a amount of 1200 as 2nd semester fees, after that they take a amount of 2800 as the 2nd year admission and 3rd semester fees, after that they take 1500 as 4th semester fees, after that the take 3000 as the 3rd year admission fees and 5th semester fees, and at last they take 1800 for the 6th semester fees. And the also take 500 rupees in every semester for university exam fees.

My college offered many scholarships, the students who are meritorious but are economically weak can take the advantage of the scholarship where a amount of 15000 is given to the student each year for the expances of his studies.

Our college have a big sports ground where the extracurricular activities like athalatics, football, cricket, volleyball and many other games are performed and our college also have labs like physics lab, chemistry lab, botany lab, zoology lab, geography lab etc for the students to have a better experience in study.

There is a great unity in our College student. Each and every department have their own representative to express their problems to the college authority. And the senior students are very helpful to everyone and the gave good advice to there junior that how to communicate with the college authority. The also help the junior to have a good time in the college.

After the result out of Higer secondary, the College starts it's admission process through online form fill-up. After the final form submission the students get their merit point. After the final date of online form fill up is done the College give a final merit list where all the students who are qualified get their rank and after this the college starts e counciling according to sit and this process continues until all the sit got fill up. The students who got selected in the e counciling list have to pay the admission fees through online payment and got admitted in the college. And on the first day of class the documents submitted by the students get verified. In this way the application procedure is completed in my college

Our college faculty have a number of total 90 members including principle , proffesor, assistant professor, lecturer, guest lecturer, teaching stuff and non teaching staff. All the faculty members are highly educated and have a very helpful manner. The are very friendly to us and help up in every way possible. All the teachers and specialy our principal sit is very polite and and a good behavior and manners. They always encourag us to do the right thing in life no matter what will happen. The College faculty is the best college faculty I have ever seen.
