Remarks

Positive remarks are study , environment , infastructure and the negative remarks are the ragging in our college. Some students are take drugs in our college. No responsibility of college after working hours in college, in hostel there is no peice in day and night

Course Curriculum Overview

My opinion in the coruse curriculum is that the engineering study is good. The exams structure is very simple. We must carry admit card with us.the exam have 3 hours to do is complete. We have good writing in exams

The placements and job opportunity in our college is not good. They don't call the company to interview us and no job placement in our college. And our college don't provide internship to us. We manage our internship by ourselves.

College Events

In our college some events are celebrated they are Engineering Day , Fresher party, Technical Fest, Farewell Party. In engineering day we celebrate it with culture programs and the technical events ,and the other compitition.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The free structure is little bit expensive. Comparison to other colleges and the study and practicals in the college. They take extra fine when we can't able to submit fee timely. In our last semester we have industrial training we go for Industrial training and no study in our college but the take full semester fee with all the students in our college.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, There is no scholarships in our college and bo any loan facility by our college. We can take loan by any bank by ourselves. College don't support in scholarship and not in loan facility. Scholarship is for only S.C S.T and O.B.C only.

Campus Life

Extra curricular activities in our college is nice. They held some functions in our college. Labs are good and practicals are held in our labs perfectly. Sports is good many students take place in sports.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network and senior students are not contact with me. but some of they are doing job in Govt. And private sector. Some are taking coaching for govt competitive exams. Some of these have some papers in supply they come college to clear them.

Admission

I give the HPCET Entarance test. Then cousling were started. But i don't go for the cousling. So I can't got admission in any Govt. College.then I decide to take admission in any good private college.Then I decide to take admission in this college.

Faculty

The college faculty is good.they are helpful. They have many years of experience in teaching. Faculty are always ready to help students. They also participate with us in culture programs. Good faculty.

Chandigarh-based companies or the startups, and training institutes come here. Companies like Meander Software, Bebo Technologies, Novem Control, BookingKoala - Sales Hungary, etc. companies come. Average package is 3.8 LPA, and 50% students are getting placed. My plans after getting the degree is working in an IT company.

Google, Microsoft, Adobe, Amazon and many more visits every year. Highest is the PPO of 93 lakhs and placement of 60 lakhs. around 93% are placed who registers for placements Average CTC is around in between 18 to 22 lakhs

Placement Experience:

At NIT Hamirpur, students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester onwards, and the placement scenario has been quite encouraging in recent years. A wide range of companies such as Infosys, Wipro, L\&T, Capgemini, Tata Projects, and several core as well as IT firms visit the campus every year. The highest placement touched an impressive 2.05 crore offered to a mechanical engineering student, while the overall average package stands at around 10.5 LPA, which is a strong figure compared to many other NITs. The placement percentage remains high, with a majority of students securing offers, especially in branches like CSE, IT, and ECE, though core branches like civil and mechanical also receive good opportunities. The profiles offered include roles in software development, consulting, design, project engineering, and research. After completing my degree, I plan to take advantage of these placement opportunities to gain solid industry experience and later decide whether to pursue higher studies or competitive exams for broader career growth.

Remarks:

There are mostly good remarks for college like the environment in kangra Himachal Pradesh is best in the area. There are dhauladar hill ranges infront for college and fress air of hilly areas are good for students.

Are you looking for Affordable and Peaceful place for your Technical study
