Remarks

I was first quiet confused about this college but as I joined I felt that this college worth more than what it got. It should be counted in top DU colleges.

Entrance Preview

Admission was based on percentage with which class XII was passed.I got 94.2? with general category to get admission here.With my ? this was the best college I got offered and admission process was quiet easy.

Course Curriculum Overview

Faculty for every course is very good. Fos CS there are 5 computer labs. Internet facility in labs is also very good. One thing that I don't like that all computers operate on Ubuntu.

Internships Opportunities

I am a first year student so no internship yet. But this college has quiet good internships. I noticed a internship from Wipro on the notice board a few days ago.

Placement Experience

Placement is not as good as Hansraj but this college got Delhi university's as well as its own placement cell. So, I just hope it improves in a few years.

College Events

There are tons of events in the college. Many workshops, recently there was a play from ECPDT. A month back, a play from DHWANI, both are theatrical society of our college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee is feasible that's why I chose this college. Fee was around 25K for generals with compensations for other minorities. There was also a scholarship that returns full fee of poor background children.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are many scholarships. First one was 100? fee return for poor background students. And many with not 100? returns. Also, there are scholarships for meritorious students.

Campus Life

Campus is so friendly. Zero ragging. There are many societies such as DHWANI & ECPDT (theatre), DHUN (music), Innov8 (Robotics), SPIE (Photonic) etc. SPIE is the main attraction of mine. It is International organisation with a SPIE Chapter in only our college among all DU colleges.

Hostel Facilities

There is no hostel in the college but PG are available outside the college. The food is hygienic and well subsidised. There is a South Indian Canteen and a general Canteen. So, choice is yours.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are not seniors, they behave like they are class mates. Alumni network is also quiet simplified. Seniors are ready to help in any case. They play games with juniors and laugh with them. They don't behave like seniors at all.

Exam Structure

Exam structure is also good. No one can cheat I must say. Teachers are very good and examination occurs in full formality.

Placement Experience:

placements cells were little challenging . there were really less near to zero placement were there .so thats a problem you have to go for higher studies to get a good job and financial stability mostly students do this only.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum consists of relatable topics and interesting ones as well this is what quite influenced me to take this course. We have labs which help us learn how to prepare various organic compounds which are used in many day to day products . The course also has a 4th year research program. There should be more equipments in lab for the research. The frequency is good for exams being conducted and there level is also quite good

Maitreyi college's BSc life sciences is a three year course and admits almost 130 students . The average package is INR3.40 LAKHS but is very difficult for the students to get placed under this course

Shivaji College Experience

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for the placements provided by the college in their 3rd year, while they can pursue internship offered by the college in previous years. Average sized companies visited the campus with lots of students being placed for jobs. The highest package I am not aware of but lowest was of around 300000 pa. I plan to pursue masters after my graduation degree.

Life in Kirori Mal College.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester. I don't know a lot about campus placements but I know that there is a training and placement cell in our college that provides good packages to many students. Some students got more than 7lpa last year. I will be doing my Post graduation after college and will make a career in academics.

Well you need to very lucky to have been a part of Sri Venkateswara college.Only think we missed back then was auditorium and hostels which am sure are there now.A very positive and caring vibe you got.Reddy Sir our principal in last few months invited me to share tirupati prasad he got that was the level and depth of community interaction and love.

Best college of DU for Mathematics

Remarks:

Canteen of the college is not much good. But it is good for a student. We can make our career in different field from this college. It has provided us playing material so student cam play there favourite game

College life in Acharya Narendra Dev College (ANDC), DU

This college was no.1 in my CUET preference list. I did few other courses for safer side but this course as well college was my top choice as it covers a lot of areas which are taught in MBBS and is quite interesting. Delhi University has 3 colleges for Biomedical Sciences, in which ANDC is the top college in terms of ranking that's why out of all three colleges this was my first choice. A few other options that I kept for me was microbiology, biochemistry in colleges such as Gargi and Deshbandhu. The college accepts your scores from CUET in subjects biology, chemistry and physics. The acceptance is done on the basis of your scores as well as your preference list. As this college was first on my preference list, I didn't get to face any rejection. The cutoffs for my admission year of 2024 was around 425+ for general category....Read More
