About VIT-AP

We have the choice to select our subject other that the program core and the there are alot of subjects to choose from and each subject will help us in one way or the other. We have to do atleast 10 other subjects to complete our credits. We have to complete 216 credits.

There are a lot of companies that provide the intership oppurtnities based on the skills of the students. Every student has to do a summer internship during completing their course which also contains 8 credits.

They are alot of of placements happening and the average package is around 12.5lakhs . The provide the placement training from 3 year and it will be helpful while attending the interviews. The percentage of students getting place is some where around 70. My plans after getting a degree is to secure a good job.

The Fee structure for the Integrated MTech in Software Engineering at VIT-AP University is destined to provide flexibility based on category of admission. The program lasts for five years, and the fee varies slightly across the years and categories. Tution Fees in the University has divided into three categories based on merit or rank of the student. The tution fee is divided into three categories as follows: Category 1: 1st-3rd year: 96000 per year 4th year: 98000 5th year: 101200 Category 2: 1st-3rd year: 159000 per year 4th year: 161000 5th year: 164200 Category 3: 1st-3rd year: 192000 per year 4th year: 194000 5th year: 197200 Additional fees: Caution deposit: A one-time refundable caution deposit of 2000 is required at the time of admission. Hostel fees: It varies based on the room type selected. AC room approx 80000 Non AC room approx 50000 Mess fees is seperate for veg and non-veg.

There is only one cultural fest that happens in one year it is VITOPIA and it is held in the month of March. There is also a technical fest that happens and the name is VTAPP that is held in the month of febuary. There are alot of clubs in the University and it is compulsory for each student to paritucipate in any of the club.

The room provides to you will contain a cot, a cupboard , a table and chair , two sockets and a study lamp. The quality of food is good and the mess is well maintained and cleaned on regular basis. The hostel room registration is open for every student who students in the college .

I have choosen this college as the fee for my course is less as compared to other colleges. I had got seat in SRM chennai but the cost is high to join. To join in this college we have an entrence exam named VITEEE and a good score in that particular exam we provide you seat in this college

There are a lot of faculties in the campus. We students have the flexibility to select our faculty from the 2nd semester. We can design our time table and select our faculty. They teach well and clarify all our doubts. We have three exams in each semester: CAT1, CAT2, and FAT. The CAT1 and CAT2 is conducted for 50 marks. The FAT is conducted for 100 marks. If we get 40 marks in the FAT we will pass in that particular subject.

There is a food street and it has alot of food items. The is no particular night life as the students are not allowed the hostel blocks after 8:30PM. There are many hangout spots in the campus where you can go with your friends and enjoy.
