Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) as compulsory subjects.
Minimum aggregate of 65% in PCM for VIT-AP campus (55% for SC/ST and candidates from J&K, Ladakh, and North Eastern states).
Candidates whose date of birth falls on or after July 1, 2006 are eligible to apply for the 2026-27 academic year.
The applicant should be a Resident Indian National who has studied in regular, full-time, formal education schools in India in the preceding two years (10+2 year).
NRI/Foreign applicants must apply through the separate international application link.

Admission Process

Register and apply online at admissions.vit.ac.in/integrated-mtech-2026-applications/ before May 25, 2026.
Applications are processed in order of merit based on PCM aggregate marks in 10+2.
Shortlisted applicants list is published on the VIT website.
Shortlisted candidates give campus and programme preferences online.
Seat allotment is done based on rank, campus preference, and programme availability.
Once allotment is done (campus and programme), it cannot be changed under any circumstances.
Selected applicants receive a Provisional Admission Letter to pay tuition fees online.
Orientation and commencement of classes details are communicated via email.

Flexibility to choose timetable, faculty,courses .Due to this flexibility we can opt out desired timings for classes
Exam pattern that we have 2 cats like mids and one fat like finals

I actually joined this college through ap EAMCET so I no need to pay tuition fee ie 70000 but I need to pay hostel fees which is around 150000 for 5 bedded the hostel fees is based on our room selection type for 2 bedded it may cost around 1.8 lakh without ac with ac 2 lakhs for we can join integrated mtech(btech+mtech 5 yrs) through state board marks for 1st category students the tution fees is from 90000 to 100000 for 2nd category 150000 and for 3rd category around 2 to 2.5 lakhs .No any additional lab feeses are added but at the time of starting admission we need to pay 30000 admission fee for university management and around 10000 rupees for hostel admission fees here we can also join through star program that is for state rankers in state board exams for star batches there is no fees and they provide merit scholarship

Know before joining VIT AP

I got admitted in category 2 according to my PCM marks in my intermediate. My fee is 1,59,000( for first 3 years) and 1,61,000 and 1,65,000 (for fifth year). For category 1 the fee is 96,000 and for category 2 it is 1,96,000. It increases by 2k and 3k in 4th and 5th year respectively. A caution deposit of 2k(non refundable) is added to your first year fee, and there is no extra fee apart from that. College doesn't provide any scholarship apart from JVD to deserving AP students but anyhow it encourages students to apply for various private scholarship exams. The college doesn't give any concssion to minorities anr there is no abolihment of fees for any category of students. The fee is cmpletely based on the rank and category you got based on your IPE PCM percentage.

the detailed fee structure of vit ap university. i have come to this college through EAMCET so, iam not having any of the academic fee to pay but the academic fee was 103000 which was payed by the govt of andhra pradesh and when it comes to hostel fee iam paying nearly 1.75-2.00 lakhs per annum. and it may increase from year to year.

Life in VIT

Vit- Ap university is one of top collages in India. Even in Ap where im studying, many people come from other states and country to study in VIT. The university provides us good facilities like hostel, class rooms etc. And coming to studies, it is the best collage. The professors and phds are very well educated and knowledgeable to teach students in different way. Our university will give us internship opportunities and also coming to placements, many companies will come to our collage which are known well outside. So in my opinion, VIT is the best collage but just a little money minded.

All you need to know about Vit Ap University.

The fee structure is divided into 3 categories for the students who apply to this course by their inter marks, in category 1 we can see fees arounf 1 lakh per year 2nd category 1.5lakh per year and 3rs category 2lakh per year. i got selected in first category with 96k as fees for 1st 3 years and 98k for the 4th year and 1lakh1thousand for 5th year. there is a registration fees of 2000 to be paid along with the 1st year fees. there is ony scholarship called JVD which is only for the students who apply through eamcet counselling their fees for this course is 75000 and government will pay the fees for casts like SC and ST. and there ar no extra charges for this course
