Course Curriculum Overview

Specific aspects of the curriculum that influenced my decision to chose the course is my brother, The curriculum prepares you for real world applications further academic pursuits. The areas for improvement in the course curriculum and teaching method

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 58900 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is good and affordable for middle or poor class family. The college is much good as we think , And the professor are also good and have teaching experience of more than 5 to 10 years. Thank you all

Campus Life

As I am 1st year student, so my experience is not so much. but the cultural fest is so good . Sometime some singer comes here for their program. The sports fest is also their , which give everyone to take part in it.

Admission

I CHOSE THIS COLLEGE BECAUSE this is a central government college and as I belong to middle class family, this college fee is affordable for me and my family. Yes , I reject IIIT Gwalior because of their fee I give jee mains exam and qualified the exam to take admission.

Faculty

The ratio of faculty with students are approx 10 is to 1 . But the faculty are so experienced. Mr.Parnav kumar is our Physics faculty. I think he is best faculty. I donot think anyone of our faculty is bad . They all are good and experienced. We give three internal exam and one end term exam .

Night Life

Night life of my college is not so much but sometimes their were a dj night , sometimes their were a culture fest at night . Sometime their were a night cricket matches and also football matches. Here is 3 gym and all Branch have their own canteen and one central cafeteria and every branch have their own library but a central library also their . The library open at 8 Am and close at 8 to 10 pm. Hostel close at 10;30 Pm

Placement Experience:

Placements at IIT Guwahati are excellent especially in the tech field ,with high placement rates and strong average packages generally Rs 30 lakh per annum. Top companies regularly visit the campus. After completing the course if i do not get placed on campus which is hardly possible i'll look for other off campus placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Most of the professors are good here.The college covers the core subjects required for strong foundation in engineering. However the theoretical coverage is good the scope for practical exposure is still required.

Placement Experience:

The placement is quite good in my college. In 7 th semester the placements start and the package goes from 16lpa to 2 cr . About 75 percent student who applied got placed . I want to work in a software firm.

Placement Experience:

Students normally appear for placements in fourth year with two placement seasons namely from december to january and february to march. Companies include quant companies and tech giants like JPMC, Reliance Industries, WellsFargo,Piramal, Standard Chartered,Texas Instrumentation, walmart, Microsoft, Amazon, Deloitte,Oracle, HCL, Barclays, Tata steel, uber, legato, Mastercard, Nutanix, BPCL, BEL,PWC, Socgen, etc. Almost 80% students get placed every year with the average package ?1,60,000. The highest package was 1.68 crore per annum from the branch of Computer Science.

ASSAM UNIVERSITY SILCHAR , THE GOOD THE BAD AND THE UGLY

Placement Experience:

only fourth year students are eligible for campus placements . the detalis of the visiting compaies are not thte sure but at least 10 stuents are placed each year from every single batch. the higest so far was 20 lpa and it was in amazon , the student who cracked that placement applied it off campus . on campus placement was not more than 10 lpa so far . the percentage of students getting placemnets are less than 50% not because of quality of placement but majority stuents opt for higher studies or goverment jobs rather than direct placement . my paln is to also pursue higher education

5 or 6 semester onwards students are eligible for internships in off campus . They can opt for PPO. There are severe companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, Flipkart, and some top MNCs . overall campus is perfect to spend 4 years

Charmingly Challenging Champion

Placement Experience:

After the 6th sem placement season starts. The intern season takes place at the end of the 4th sem. The placement of the college is extremely good. The average package of the college is around 21 lakhs. That of CSE is 41 lakhs. Mncs is 35 lakhs etc. Projected package of my branch DSAI is 40 lakhs.

I want to apply to RTU ( RABINDRANATH TAGORE UNIVERSITY). But due to insufficient funds couldn't take addmission. My seniors are there and told me it is good university and genuine when i heard about thier marks it is very appreciable.
