Course Curriculum Overview

3

i suggest that if youll study hard nothing will go wrong. the curriculum is nice ,provides students a good knowledge according to that subjects. and if you'll prepare those subjects nicely you dont need to worry about your placement interviews . there are many seminars conducted which provide students a basic idea of whats going on in the industry , industry experts are very friendly they will provide you a good guidance if youll take initiative to interact with them

Internships Opportunities

3

college brings good companies , you just need to have good skills to grab best internships. stipend varies from company to company , if it is a startup they will not provide you stipend , but if it is a well known company they will provide you min 5k atleast . there are companies which provides you learning internships , im in second year rightnow so i didnt apply for any internships rightnow .

Fees and Financial Aid

1.the college charges 3.5 lakhs per annum and if you are taking admission through managment quota them they will charge you 5 lakhs per annum and that amount you have to pay directly (not in installments). 2.Poor lab faciltites and infrastructure according to fees we are paying 3.my batch mates are rich brats half of them are drug addict some of them dont care about studies but there are students who are actually very studious 4.faculties are average and its hard to gain max internal marks 5.cultural fests are the best 6. there are many clubs present in college you can be a part of them ,and also college encourages students to participate in those clubs(tech or non tech according to their preference ). 7.hackathons and many competitions are arranged every year which allows students to show their skills and abilties and also exicting prizes are given to winners. 8. getting a scholarship is very hard , you need above 90% attendance and atleast 9+ cgpa which is hard for an averge student 9.if you really want to build your career , focus on yourself , choose friends with similar goals ,otherwise youll end up regrettting .there are very mean n rude students present over there (rich brats) ,the only thing they can do is trolling & back bitching ,dont focus on them and do your work 10.talking about placements lowest was 5LPA and highest was 40 LPA ,if you are skilled enough you'll definately have a descent pacakge. 11.overall the crowd is okish ,not so good not so bad 12.libraries are good ,they also provide PCs on ground floor, washrooms are clean ,and there is plenty of space in library for students to sit. 13.overall its a okish college ,take admission only and only if you can afford it,otherwise its totally waste of time

Campus Life

4

1.The students portal this year was pwc which was shit!,it doesnt shows proper attendance 2. The college is going to build sports complex( which is under construction right now), which will be having swimming pool, various indoor sports 3.there is one basketball turf in campus area 4. the clubs here provide students to enhance here there skills beside studies ,singing ,dance, literature ,etc .there are many clubs & events where you can showcase your talent 5.arohan fest is the best fest which helds in month of march ,the music ,dance, performances are the best . 6.RIDE event is held in august , many great personalties are invited and also students gets opportunity to interact with them ,the day time in this event boring because of speeches given by guests ( it is compulsory for students to attend in day time ,they are not allowed to leave the event once they enter ) but in night performances are arranged which are very very good

Admission

the main reason to choose this college was the hype .also i dont regret getting admission over here .the crowd here is very good ,always try to learn & upskills them self.the companies visit this colleges are good according to rest of colleges . anyone with good skills and who has ambition embedeed in them to learn & grow can grab a decsent package . the thing college needs to improve is infrastucture, the lifts are very slows, PCs need to be maintained , talking about admission process you need have good marks or good money,if you are rich ,its very easy for you to take admission

Faculty

3

there are 5 subjects, faculties are averge i dont like any one of them nor i hate anyone. if youll ask them doubt they'll definately solve them . exams here are difficult you need to study hard for passing them 20% of students fails and reappear for them. special fee is collected for each subject if your want to recheck the paper or if you want to reappear for the exam

Night Life

4

1.The college canteen shuts at 4pm ,the food there is very tasty 2. MIT hostels are not at all worth it , mess food is not good ,its tasteless also the hostel fees is very high 3.In night campus looks serene ,calm, peaceful, but it shuts at 7pm 4.libraries are open on weekends till 5 pm (usally opens at 7:30am) 5.there are multiple places where you can hangout ,like near atri buliding and pharmacy building . 6.there is one speacial place near turf provided for students where they can hangout ,there is one small mountain and they have build stairs to go up there . you can hangout over there and you can see whole campus from there 7.eateries outside college are open till 8pm ,you can see students having shawarma ,tea, coffee over there 8.lassi wassi's shawarma ,cold coffee and mojito's are the best and saggys chaap which is 1km away from college sells the best chaap in the town 9.there are many mess near by college area which provides good food .

I choose this course because I have genuine interest in civil engineering. The faculty student ration is 1:50. Our faculties are well qualified they are master's degree holders in design and structural engineering. Some of them are PhD holders and many of them have done their master's from NIT and IIT. Term exams are scheduled after every 2 months. it is easy to pass because it consists of 30 marks only.
