Indeed it's a great college. There is a lot of scope into improvement of the placements, which is an essential part of students life after the end of their designed course. Otherwise PDPU pushes you to achieve great success.
Course Curriculum Overview
It's by far a really great curriculum, its includes everything. From academics to extra curricular activites. It has organised till now over 1000 events. It excells in sports, clubs like e-baha and m-baha and what not.
Internships Opportunities
Yes our college provides many internships. Not just within the country, but even outside India, as it has signed mou's with many other foreign universities, within many countires. It gives a vast ammount of experience, you get to learn infintely. It's just a great opportunity to participatee in these internships.
Placement Experience
Well, talking about the mechanical branch, the placements can be improved on a really good scale. The placements are very avearage, and somewhere feels like a demotivation. Well, for the other brwnches like petroleum a d Computer engg. We have really great placements, but there is a strong need to create job opportunities for the core branches.
College Events
We at PDPU, are full of organising events and socialising. We have celebrated in numerous number of events which incluse, musical, seminars, sports, dance, etc and what not. We have invited so many great musicians over the time to pdpu. We have the biggest sports event knows as petrocup. We take part in electric and mechanical, car races.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure at pdpu is quite expensive i believe, for an average student to study here. Well, there are a lot of scholarship programs but then yes the fee is really high at some point. They have this category divided systems, amd nri's are costed a fortune.
Fees and Financial Aid
Well, pdpu as such provides good scholarships to its students, who are really good at thier studies, and are not too financially strong, but deserve a quality education. It's based on your college merit rank, and accordingly you get the desired scholarship.
Campus Life
At pdpu, thats what reflects the most. They are just the best here, the labs are so beautiful, clean. The grounds, etc. Pdpu just doesnt focus over academis. It has a great sports background. Our biggest event is petrocup, we have played all over the india with many universities.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel infrastructure and the facilities it provides, are just unbeatable by any other university in the whole state of gujarat. We have the best i frastrucutre at pdpu. Are hostels are really great, and we have a accomodation of over 10000 students.
Alumni/Alumna
We are pushing ourself more and mkre towards creating the best alumni network we can. We have so many alumini, having their own startups today, working into some big companies. The seniors here are all very supportive. They are always ready to help.
Exam Structure
The Exam Strucutre is really smooth. They have good coordination amaong all the representatives when it comes about the exams. There is a well designes exam scheme, and everything goes very smoothly. It can be improved to maybe some extent but overall by far its the best structure i have heard about.
Admission
I got admission through my JEE marks. A merit list is prepared, and then you are called out on selected dates. And you secure your seat in the college. Another method by which you can enter is through your ACPC marks.
Faculty
The faculty of the college is really great and well informed professors. Mostly all of the faculty of the enggineering branch are PHD's. They have indepth knowledge of the concepts they teach, so by no doubt you can learn a lot from them.
