TMSL is a good college but the placement and opportunities depend on ur individual calliber

Yes ECE I chose because obviously it is a very versatille branch as we can opt for hardware companies , software companies as well as for the govt jobs. The curriculum mainly focusses on the hardware part but different varieties of programing and coding applications are also done so definitely there is versality. Improvement in curriculum is neccesary like innovation in AI and other things must also be improvised so that the students are not deprived of software knowledge so that cracking interview rounds is easier for the students and they are skillfull and get properly placed.the frequency of exams are such that we nearly have exams every month either practical or theory or both and the difficulty level is medium to hard and sem exams are definitely not easy

celebal technology ,microsoft ,redoQ, tiger analytics,etc are the companies which come for internship and offer internship. in many cases intership opportunities arrive from the 6th sem itself and student can even get placed if they perform well in the internship sector.

from 6th sem normally students become eligible for placements before that u can sit but u wont be able to apply. microsoft google intel infosys capzemini cognizant amazon etc. all may come but no gaurenteee. highest maybe above 20 lpa average package is 5-6lpa. nearly 85% eligible students get placed . my plans are for placement for job

The total fees charges by the college TMSL for the course is 550000. While taking admission the college charges 79800, which includes the first sem fees (74800) + college uniform, college bag, books, and some diary, pens and other files(5000). The fees for second semester is 71200, third sem (65500), fourth sem (65500), fifth sem(66500), sixth sem(66500), seventh sem(67500), eighth sem(67500). There are some added costs tooo. Like during MAKAUT registration 500 is taken as registration fee and 2200 as student development fee. 1200 is taken before every semester examination as semester examination fees.

many technical festivals happen in the college including a freshers and a cultural fest which happens once every year. books of nearly all subjects are available in the library and the books are sufficient to pass semesters well if properly read. classes have smartboard and ac system. there are many sports clubs so sports is done on a regular basis

I selected this college because I thought that this one is one of the best pvt colleges in kolkata. My assumption wasn't too much wrong as this is one of the best colleges in terms of placement but yes I was a bit dissapointed because this college definitely lacks infastructure on its outer looks inside of the college is pretty much ok. No I didnt get rejected from any college I just didnt apply in any other college this college was my top priority. Admission is pretty simple if u have the required wbjee rank of the branch u wanna take then u can go for councelling and get ur slot and take admission if u dont have rank then u have management quota where u have donation system and can take admission by paying more money.

There is a decent amount of faculty for atleast my department and no class normally happens to be missing due to absence of faculties also. Enough teachers are present to coverup the damage of studies even if any faculty is missing or absent due to personal reasons. There are some faculties I like as well as some which I dont like that much but I cannot possibly name any of them because that might be a matter of discrepancy and wont be good for my representation in the college. There are 4 CAs ( Consecutive Assessments) and 2 PCAs( Practical Consecutive Assessments). The first CA is ppt presentation second one is report or assignment third is a written test of 25 marks and the 4th is online mcq test conducted by the university itself. No one fails in ca but yes many fail in semesters and get backlogs. The course curriculum is a bit outdated

cafeteria is there library is great. library has awesome stock. i havent been to much of nightlife but as much as i have heard about it the nightlife from people it appears that this place is extremely safe and many hangout places are present here and there which help in relaxation .
