- Student politics was there but it was controlled by the college management.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum was very vast and mainly subjective written in nature. There were no multiple choice questions available during our time. There were no practicals or hands on sessions. Annual Exams where of 3 hours mainly subjective. We used to memorize or used common sense to clear all subjects.
Fees and Financial Aid
Total Course Fee at that time (1999-2002) overall approx Rs 3455 annually for 3 years for all categories. Entire fee structure included Tuition fees, caution fees, registration fees, admission fees, development fees of the entire course duration. Fees used to be taken monthly or yearly. No scholarship or financial aid taken during that time on merit basis. Same fees applicable for all batchmates.
Campus Life
We had a big library of various books of eminent authors which we had to access by library membership card we used to read books or take home some books for referral purposes only. There were no internet connection available at that time but later on Wi-Fi connection was provided. Since it was a evening classes there were no outdoor games was possible only indoor games like chess, carrom, table tennis or badminton was available. There were annual functions or fairs or seminars used to be held on regular basis. There was a student union but mainly the college management used to hold its reigns over them. So there were no kind of tension or student clashes ,like so whatever it happened in other colleges.
Admission
It was near my home about 10 kilometres. Mainly joined as it was mainly for boys and evening classes faculty was very good. Though got selected in 3 more colleges,I opted for this college. Admission process was very simple on basis of HS marks, forms where distributed and then based on merit classes started in a 2 week period. There were no exams or group discussions taken at that time.
Faculty
Student: teacher ratio: 30:1 Very good and helpful faculty to guide us during class lectures and sessions. Also vast library with various books available to read there or carry home books. But, no internet connection was available during over time ,later on Wi-Fi connection was available. Exams were 3hr duration subjective mode. No practicals. Pass percentage was good annually.
Night Life
There were no hostel facilities available with this college where we studied. Mainly, we use to attend classes during the evening times as we were not advised to go out. There were no outdoor games, but indoor games like chess table tennis badminton and carrom boards were available for recreation purposes. Timings where from 5:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. There were no gym but cafeteria was available where food or snacks was available at minimum cost
