got the best infrastructure and best teachers in computer science department.the only one negative thing is that you need write a letter and take prior permissions for each and every thing. very strict.

under Kerala Technological University(KTU). being a CS student coming from biology background it was difficult for me at the beginning. but the faculties of CS dept are exceptionally superb. highly supporting and guiding (all of them). more like a family(both for teachers and for students).

provide paid internships and workshops often on different courses. mostly students from other colleges can also participate. fee depends on the course. not at all compulsory. interested students participate.

There is placement cell in college. after 3rd yesr the final year students with atmost 1 backlog are given 1 week training regarding placements, interviews, etiquettes, how to crack aptitude questions , etc.

Freshers and Arts day( 2 day celebration) , Illuminati ( cultural fest), Sports day(1 day in stadium and the second day in college itself), tour (in between), colloquium( technical fest), college day( the last event of an academic year).

fee structure is feasible considering the facilities provided - library(common and department library), 2-3 day internships in the college itself(often), labs, college buses, placement cell with a lot of companies coming annually.

i haven't availed but i know of some scholarships.student who passed with highest percentage in 12th was given a scholarship amount for all 4 years.also some financially backward students were given laptops for very lesser rate(or free not sure) by college.

different departments for different streams.labs in every department.also multiple labs in computer science department.has technical and cultural fests in even and odd semesters respectively. gym facility is available for both girls and boys. can use library any time with due permission.

hostelers can make use of gym facility available to them. Food is almost good ( of course cannot match our mother's foods). every year the menu changes. menu is repeated on a weekly basis. girls should get into the hostel by 6/6:30. boys have varying timings.can use libraries late in the evening with prior permissions.

yes. they conduct an alumni meet by December ( semester ends in July ). teachers forward job applications to students whom they know are not yet placed ( very helpful ). senior students help in selecting different electives and help with exam materials.

each semester consists of 3 assignments, 2 series exams of (50 marks each), 1 lab exam and 1 semester exam(of 100 marks). lab exams are conducted internally mostly. assigment marks are added with the series exams marks are then the internals are published.

wrote Kerala Engineering, Architecture, Medical (KEAM) exam. choose this college as my first preference in Trivandrum. got it in the first allotment itself. came to the college one day. completed my admission procedure in 2-3 hrs (max).

faculties are good and helping. syllabuses are completed and more often notes are also provide either softcopy or hardcopy. being a student of CS dept i dont know more about other depts. faculties of CS dept are highly supporting and guiding(as said previously) not only academically but also during placements.
