- There are less number of student placed in reputed company and many students still struggle to get placed in any company
- Placement in electronics and communication is very bad; if we SEE placement % of electronics, it is around 30% There are fewer companies for ECE; they prefer CU students in placements for placed first.
- The average salary package offered is 5 LPA. More than 900 companies participated in the placement drive and offered more than 9,000 placements offers.
Course Curriculum Overview
Caurse are good but they teach old subject like engeneering drawing workshop. Exam in every month and test in every week. Real world acadmic are not provided they teach old subject. 75 % attendance is necessary and also they give marks according to the attendance.
Internships Opportunities
Amazon, infosis, flipkart,and some small mnc . Project and cgpa also matters and min 75% attendance also. Cgpa 7.5 is needed to sit in palcemnet drive. 4 or 5 round of placement and also they take a test before sit in palcemnet.
Placement Experience
The highest package offered by rhe company amazon this year was 52lpa which is a very big package Percentage is 70-80 % getting placed I want to pursue for masters after completing my bachelors. After degree I want a good placement.
Fees and Financial Aid
My college is not good or not bad its placement are normal infrastructure are good teacher aree good semister exam are tough events are best but fess is to much college in village college provide specific lecture for placement drive.
Campus Life
In cgc there is one and the biggest fest of ptu helds every year in the month of november and in which they calls big singers . The fest lasts for 2 days and there happens lot of activities They teach and prepare students for placements in classonly Sports occur on the regular basis There are so many clubs and groups in which students can participate for every work like music , dance , sports , writing , environment .
Hostel Facilities
Room in hostel have facitlity of 2 seater room , 3 seater room , 4 seater. Room students according to them can afford it fee is different for evry type of room Meal is quite good they provide lunch breakfast snacks dinner Locality is good to rent rooms or pg outside the college and easily avaialable and affordable.
Admission
First i prefer chandigarh university but due to financial condition .The admission process of this college is direct admission with good percentage of marks in 12th or JEE merit based and board result.
Faculty
Industry-Relevant Curriculum the he program integrates current industries technologies, ensuring students are prepared for the job market and also tpp( training placement program) is the key deatue which help students for real world applications or further academic pursuits..The emphasis on hands-on projects, internships, and workshops enables students to gain practical experience.
Night Life
Gym facilties are provided for the hotel students for free 24×7 . There are also present so many food courts where students can go chill after the colleges time Campus timmings for girls is 7:30 pm and for boys it is 10:00 pm Yes locality is safe to roam at night . There are so many places outside the campus as the college is situated in region near chndigarh which makes it very suitable for the students to hangout at the famous places of chandigarh such as elante mall , sukhna lake , rock garden , markets etc.
