I answered KIITEE My rank was around 10k and opted for electronics and instrumentation. A very huge number of students up to 2lacs answer this exam exam every year.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is very well focused. There are 8 semesters with minimum 5subjects each. 40marks are kept for internals in which 20is for test and rest for quiz and assignment. 60marks end seem paper is there.the sessional comprise of 100marks each.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, I have done an internship from Inautix technologies with a stipend of 10k every month. Other companies like Infosys, deloitte, HP etc also offer internship.
Placement Experience
The placement is very good almost everyone is placed and many have multiple offers with them. On an average the package is 3lpa (for cognizant, inautix, accenture, wipro) but companies like HP thought works etc offer around 6lpa. 12lpa is offered by amazon. Companies like TATA STEEL,sap labs, cybage, capegemini, Robert Bosch also visit the campus.
College Events
There are many fest's held which are inter college and students from all over India participate in it. They are: Kritansh Kairavi KIIT MUN Koncord Science congress was also held in 2011 in the college.The participating audiences are quite huge in each and every event held by the college.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is expensive then other colleges. The fee is expensive as compared to other same category colleges. but the facilities offered are very good.the infrastructure of the college is worth appreciation with tremendous amount of greenery and cleanliness around the area.its value for money.
Fees and Financial Aid
I am not actually aware about the scholarships offered but yes some amount of money is given to the branch topper every year by the college. College have tie ups with bank for educational loans which are provided to the students.
Campus Life
Generally students with good financial backgrounds are found in the campus.male and female both are present in a good ratio throughout the campus.there are many competition held throughout the year like dancing, singing,robotics,poetry,debate,painting,drama etc. A lot of scope for social service is there through the societies present in the college.there are more than 20 society in the college.a very good exposure is given to the students.
Hostel Facilities
There are ample amount of hostel rooms available. Its a 3 sharing room.ac/non ac rooms available. The mess is inside the hostel premises. The food is not good but the hostels canteen is awesome where you get good food at a nominal rate. The cup boards are
