We have a good campus environment.The campus is very eco friendly and is full of trees and plants.
It has good teachers and some good friends

Dislikes

I didn't like the fact that there is no college ground .I would appreciate if there were little bit more spacious

Course Curriculum Overview

We have a very well structured curriculum which helps in writing our exams easily. Teachers teach their subjects accordingly and guide us to write the exams well...They prepare thorugh notes and ppt to refer and give us the textbooks which are required.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 27000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Many internship are offered.But no stipend is offered in any of it . mostly it is online and develop our skill.This helps is moulding our career.Many projects and international conference are held in our department which gives exposure to large students...

Placement Experience

Currently I am not in the position of campus placement but heard it has good campus placement.but since our department is bit more developing subject ..we'l need to take mtech to get proper placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yearly I am paying about 27000 as I was admitted a merit seat if FW quota. The other merit students without quota pays almost 56000. And for management seat this amount is higher...There are many financial aid and scholarships available like egrantz...for students with lower income and also for students who are good at their studies...

Campus Life

I have good campus life.Good teachers,students and other staffs.Lab facilities are good except for a ground which is lacking since programmes can't be conducted in a good way..There are clubs and social groups to entertain the students.

Admission

For my field this college is the only government college in Kerala.This one has been teaching this coure for far more years than the other colleges .So we have here the best teachers in our department.Admission process is very simple. Write KEAM and obtain ranks.You will get your seat through counselling...

Faculty

Our faculty is filled with teachers with good knowledge on the subject.They support us throughout the program.Exams are conducted in the right manner just as the ktu suggests in their curriculum.Their series exam help us to do well in the final exam.

Night Life

Our college is not for late night activities.it closes by 7 and do not allow any students inside as it does not have any hostel facilities inside the building.Therefore there is no night life in the campus.The only thing is when some programs is conducted the timing may vary and we may have programs till late night.but these are exceptional cases only

Sahrdaya College of Engineering - [SCE] Kodakara | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Biotechnology)

Because Sct was more renowned in biotechnology and Biochemical department.They also had more experience in the department than the other colleges

OUR COLLEGE LIFE

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA

Sct college- a paradise

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placements from the third semester onwards. Toward the end of the third semester, companies start to approach you based on your cgpa and SGPA. If you have good marks stipend is provided.

If you want to be in a controlled environment, focus on academics, make use of some good placement opportunities, and get somewhere career-wise I would be suggesting Amrita University.

An honest college review

I choose this college because it has vibrant campus life and freedom.It also has good placement records,good pass percentage. I also took due to distance advantage.This college also has good faculty, teaching. Although the campus is small, the infrastructure is well maintained. It has well structured labs.I also looked for cet, Trivandrum but I didn't get it because of my keam rank. The exam accepted for the course is keam and most of the students prefer it. Students can also join this college by nri quota without any entrance exam by giving more fees.I got admission in ece in sctce in the keam 1st allotment itself....Read More

A look inside Sct - Campus life, Academics and more

The main reason I chose this college was because this as under the Government of Kerala. It is held jointly by both government and ksrtc. This the standard of teachers will be better than other private colleges and campus life would be better as well. I have gotten confirmed admission from Amritha University and FISAT. I chose Sct because of the above given reason and also because of its location in trivandrum. I had applied to both Cet and Gect but I didn't pass the cutoff. The admission price for SCTCE is through KEAM which is held by the government of Kerala.
