A closer look at the hidden gems of campus living

I had choose this as my core because I was fascinated from my childhood how these electronic gadgets that i see in my surroundings work. The curriculum covers almost all the major areas and starts from the very base so that each and every individual could understand. Improvement-Must include the subjects/ topics what the fast moving technology needs . Each semester has 3[2 series&1lab] internal exams and 2 external exams[lab&main exam]

Students from Semester 7 can sit for placements. Various IT companies like Tata elxi , speridian ,allianz, renault nissan technology & business centre and many other companies. Highest package was 7 lakhs and lowest package was 3 lakhs.

Annual tech fest is Dhyuthi .It holds wide variety of workshops and events related to technologies. Annual cultural fest is Cult A Way ,which is one of the largest among other colleges in the same tier.It hosts artists from bollywood.It is 3day event with many workshops,sports,choreonight,classics,and mainly volunteering ability for students are developed. Books and journals for each and every branch are available. All the type of sports are been pursued by the students. There are cricket ,football,kabadi,handball,kho kho,volleyball,badminton team for both boys and girls. There are arts club,environment club,robo club,nss,velosters,meckhartans club for mech and automobile department

Collage doesn't provide hostel. College hostel is under construction. Hostel near the college has rooms where four people can share as well as two people can share. Rooms contain two bunk beds ,a study table ,four wardrobe one for each,a loading stand to keep neccessary items .The rooms have attached spacious bathrooms.There is a separate study hall .A terrace to spread out our washed clothes.Our hostel is spacious and has place for recreation like playing badminton, basketball. Registration process involves filling the form with required details and the fees is affordable. Nearby hostels too have the same rent.College too checks on the hostels working.

I totally applied only to three colleges. I choose this college because at that time it was in top 11 colleges in kerala. On the trial allotment itself i got merit seat in this college.This college was near to my home district. I didn't get rejected from other two colleges . To get admitted We have to clear keam exam conducted by the kerala government. To have a merit seat one must have comparatively good rank. Seats are also available in management quota and nri. Admission process was well . Staff was very good ,their behaviour everything. We didn't face any discomfort during the admission procedure .

The faculty to student ratio is proper and good. Students can approach faculties with ease and they too are welcoming amd friendly. Each semester contains 2 series exam ,1 internal lab exam ,1 external lab exam and main end semester exam. The exam is easy or difficult depending upon the subject's difficulty level and also how the student approaches the subject. More than 80percent students in my class clears all the papers and comes out with good cgpa's.

There is no gym. There is a wide library with all the books for each branches .There are also separate department library focusing on departments core subjects books and journals. Thera are also access to ejournals. Library provides wifi connection to students. Library opens early around 8am and closes around 7pm. Public space closes on normal days at 7pm but on days when some events are going on it closes only at 9pm or 10pm depending on the events. College hostel is under construction. Many students stay in the nearby pg's or hostel.Each hostel and pg has their own curfew. Main hangout spot is the big tree in the front ,inside the college.The locality is safe and secure .Collage has two cafeterias a main canteen where main course is served and a mini canteen. Mini canteen serves mainly snack and drink items.
