An open book that u needs

We follow ktu curriculum. It can be better. There are still some things that we do not have any use in our life but we have to learn just for the exams and marks. But the remaining portions are good for our future studies and job. Usually we do not get enough time for a sem. Last year we appeared for 3 sem in a year. Initially it was very difficult but slowly we became used to it even before we knew. It will help us to survive in any kind of situation

Yes, the placements were good for the previous years. It is one of the reasons i chose here but nowadays there is a placement crisis in all colleges. So we are also facing it. Our seniors from the previous year said they did not get the placements as like the previous years

I am studing in merit quota in this college. So i have to pay an average of 55000 per year. This yearly payment is for 2 sems. The amount can vary between 50000 to 60000 because it includes pta fund, admission fee etc. For mangament seat an average fee is 80,000 and for nri it is above 100000. The caution fund is 10,000 which is also included here. Some students get fee waiver so they only need to pay 10,000. For SC and ST they need to pay below 10000. The college doesnt offer any scholarship but if we want to apply to any we will get help from the college. The exam fee is also included here in this fee structure but for extra exams like minor and honor we have to pay extra fee. And in second year for CGPU training we paid 2000

The campus life is great. Our college has many programs which always makes us engaging in all activities. There are multiple clubs like IEEE, Cybots, NSS etc we can chose as our interest goes. The college also offers all types of sports events. We have Advent as the technical fest and CultAWay as our cultural fest. Cultaway is one of the biggest fest in the southern kerala.People across all over the places comes to become a part of it. Last time Ankit Tiwari came for the main brochure and it was an awesome event

The college doesnt have any hostel of its own. Its under maintenance. But there are some private hostels which is approved by the college. The hostels are good but not the complete perfect They have there own rules and they change as they want. We usually opposes when the hostel usually takes wrong stand. The food is okay and it has a menu for a week. But the same food for every week makes it bore. The hostel is in a safe atmosphere and it is clean. When checking a hostel always visit it and ask opinion from the previous tenants

I chose this college after getting my keam mark and rank. As of i know it is the second best government self financing college in Kerala. So with my rank i thought it will be the best for me. And i chose the branch electronics and communication which is one of the main branches in the college. And the college is comparitvely affordable and accessible than others

There are sufficient faculties. There is usually not a very touching bond between the two but yes there is a good bond. Like every place there are some good ones who puts there 100 percent in there job and some doesnt. There are 8 sems so 1 set of exams for each sem. Two series exam for a sem plus internal and external lab exam

There is a library and we can stay there for around 6:00 pm and we can refer as much we want. We can also borrow books from there. The college usually closes around 6:30. If we have any extra activities there then the college will be open for as much timewe want. Minicanteen and the college stage is the place most people gather
