Course Curriculum Overview

5

As I said the course curriculum is designed by the college itself. So it is most of the time realted to outside world. Specially the chemistry syllabus designed here gives solution to every environmental issues. Another most important subject here is PBLM that is project based leaning management. This subject give the knowledge about the hardwares along with the software which is very crucial as there is no software without hardware!!! The subjects in upcoming years are completely and accurately coverd in the college syllabus besides this they have the lab facilities for each and every subject and a supportive faculty for the same. The areas of improvement I would suggest they should increase the lab sessions for programming subject or instead they can add practice questions in the theory lectures itself. Same for some other subject, theory is important in each case actually but I think they should go on by giving real life examples which helps the student to understand the concept efficiently. The difficult of the exams conducted here is moderate to difficult and they do give enough time for preparation of the same. Along with the time the college faculty provides with the important question banks other important questions example even the important concepts. So I think the frequency and timings of the exam along with it's difficulty level matches accurately.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure of the college is very affordable. I've paid 130000 as my course fee, and being a general category student personally it is very manageable for me. Out of 130000, the contribution for tuition fee is 104348, 1000 goes as the caution fees and the examination fees for 1st 2 sem is 5K. Being an open category student I can't avail any of the scholarship facility. Most of my batch mates pay the similar amount of fees as I do. The course fees are same for the 4 yrs, it has a lot of benefits for the students with category and helps a needy very efficiency. The college avails the facilities of various scholarships which can be really very helpfull for a needy. The staff here is very co-operative and supports in each and every situation.

Campus Life

5

The campus of Aissms consists of 4 colleges in it one is management other is pharmacy and then it is Aissms COE and Aissms IOIT. The campus life of our college is very pleasant. The events held in here are something which can't be described in words actually. The technical events here are mostly organised by the seniors which r upto the trend I should say. The cultural events held in the IOIT are something amazing!!! Besides this there are many social groups communities clubs which help student grow socially and practically. Each and every club conducts the interview of the student while entering. Besides this the NSS group and the NCC group of our college do hold the social drives. The field trips and the students trips organized are very much in the budget and sage to go with.

Admission

I did apply for 4 to 5 colleges in which IOIT was my 3rd preference. The collges above which I applied for were far away from my CET score that is the reason I couldn't make into any of those colleges. There were many reasons for choosing Aissms IOIT. 1st one of them was location it is situated in central pune and is exactly infront of the metro station. 2nd thing is, it is very convenient for me in case of traveling I've got metro station near my house as well and infront of our college as well. 3rd thing is the fee structure here is very mucn affordable to me personally, next is the reviews which I got from my seniors. There r many other reaons but these were important of those. The admission process of our college is very much sorted and simple. After u've been alloted with the college in the cap process uve to just come to college fill up the admission form and pay the fees they have really kept it very simple and does not cause any confusion. Our college accepts admission thorugh JEE and MHTCET. In 2024 the cutoff for my branch thats is AI&DS went upto 95 in the 3rd round. While if u've to get admission thorough JEE u'll have to score atleast above 91 percentile.

Faculty

5

The faculty here is very friendly co-operative and supportive in every condition. They help us in each and every problem whether it be realted to academics kr any other thing. Well each and every faculty is favorite one of mine...but if I have to choose as my most FAVORITE one then it would be our PSP faculty. Mr. Suhas Deokate and Mrs. Snehal Rathod. Psp is my most favorite subject and if u get such a friendly faculty for ur fav subj it's like sone pe suhaga actually so I'm lucky to have them for my batch. The exams here are always moderate to difficult as they should be for an engineering student. The questions asked here make u to think for the appropriate answer, the checking done is a bit on a difficult level. Each and every answer is read and evaluated according to it's merit. Genrally there are 2 insem exams in each semester. So a student goest thorugh 4 exams each year in which 2 are insems 20 marks each and 2 are end semesters. The insem exams can be theory based or practical based or a project presentation based or an oral exam depends on the subject. For example the chemistry insem 2 for 1st yr student was a live presentation based on the topics alloted to the students. The end semester exams are theory based and practicals are conducted on external level. And the passing ratio here is good that is out of 100, around 85 to 90 student do pass the exams. The course cirriculum here is related to outside industries the practical knowledge is given on a large scale the syllabus is designed by the college itself. Each and every subject here gives practical knowledge and help find the solution for real life problems.

Night Life

5

When it comes to spend time with friends in the college we have many places. The most likely and favorite place of all is the place behind the aeroplane. We've an aeroplane kept in our college which is another reason why our college is famous so there is a type of 'katta' behind the plane where we guys hangout even while the lectures are going on. The second place is OAT (Open Air Theater) it is besides the IOIT canteen and this is the second place hwere we gus sit and discuss the lively unpredictable and something weird issues based on our life. The night life in our college is simply outstanding, the college is actually located in the center so basically it is completely safe and secured even the metro services are now operational till 11pm which makes it convenient for everyone. The hostel gate timings for boys it is 10 and for girls it is around 11. Besides this the tea kf IOIT canteen is unmatched they have something special which do release each and every stress of ours.

I choose this course because I have genuine interest in civil engineering. The faculty student ration is 1:50. Our faculties are well qualified they are master's degree holders in design and structural engineering. Some of them are PhD holders and many of them have done their master's from NIT and IIT.
