College life:A summary

So our curicullum includes good subjects as well as few irrelevant subjects eventough wea re biotechnology and Biochemical the subjects tends to incline more to Biochemical aspect and less biotechnology. When it comes to lab knowledge its very less comparatively. When it comes to real world perspective the knowledge we acquire here is not so good. Difficulty level of exams are fine whereas the timing of exams sometimes seems of Course curriculum needed to be improved accordin to the subject preferences. Teaching beeded to be more interactive and not only classroom nature.

The fees is around 50k to 60k. Each yrar they tend to increase fees also it includes tution lab caution and also cult a way. Since i am a merit student my fees is this much but my friends entered through management pay around a lakh a year. Also there are students who belongs to OEC cast pays on around 2000 only. Also there are students who fet scholarships they get the money reimbursed.

Almost all evebts and festivals are done by students. The faculty always find problems in them. Anyway our college conduct a three day arts festival in kanakunnu palace every year called cult a way which is a very big festival last year ankit tiwari performed before that shilpa rao performed. Also sport nss and many clubs exist. Usually sports are conducted in any other stadium because our college is small and really doesn't have a big ground. March is when cult a way is held. All classrooms has projecters and connections also every departments have their own seminar halls as well as a common seminar hall which is much bigger

Ok i was preparing for neet and then didn't score needed marks. I selected this course because its biotechnology related but it is not much it. Also i git admission for bpharm in a college but i didn't go because i was nit that interested. There is only very few biotechnology courses in kerala.Admission in our college is by considering keam marks there is also management seats which require more fees but it also consider keam marks.i didn't really applied to other college to get rejected. Also i tried for nursing government seats after 1 year repeat for neet but didn't get eventough i have 95% mark in plus two because that year due to covid alla students had huge mark

So our department faculty is actually kind of fine but a little bit strict when approaching for events .our advisor is very supportive for everything. When it comes to exams after the first series everything will be so tight packed with exams and evaluation of our university is very bad. There is two internam exam and one university exam. Also they cut short 6 month sem to a 3 month sem which make it so difficult to keep up and not a proper joliday between sems one time the class started the next day after the exam. But theese things are not decided bybthe college it is under the control of ktu university.

As already mentione our college is very small and doesn't really have hangout spots there is a mini cantern which is surrounded by few trees which is.the normal hangout spot and also main canteen. Library is not much used as other colleges but i has an area where students can do their works and provides wifi normally students who wants to do their projects assigned seminars go there . No nightlife 8s allowed at college the gates will closed around 6pm and if there is any events going on we have to take permission prior to that otherwise the students will be dispersed there itself. The locality is fine to roam at night but has problems all places face.
