Remarks
Overall very good college if any one want to get knowledge and dedicated toward studying then option is available but if they want to waste time option are available for that also. So for studying one should be focused towards studying.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is basically based on the UGC rule. Different from different branch since I am a computer science student. It's course is almost 95% same as of any government college or IITs. And also those are enough to crack any placement drive.
Internships Opportunities
Our college do not provide any kind of internship. Rather the companies visits for the campus. And all student who are eligible for that drive can apply and through the the series of process companies recruit students for internship which they convert into FTE according to performance. Different companies provide different stipend some companies like highradius ,GS labs pay 25000 whereas companies like VM ware ,amazon, Autodesk,etc pay 50000.
Placement Experience
As told earlier i choose this college due to placement and now i can say that placement of my college is very good many student get multiple offers. I also have 2 offer one from CGI and another NETCRACKER. There are many people like me here. overall placement of this college is very good not only for CS/IT but also for the core branches. Almost 50-60 company visits campus which are core. Some of the silicon valley company like cypress semiconductor also visited this campus every year.
College Events
A lot of event happens in my college. 4 types of fest happens. One of which are grand which is KIIT FEST. Another fest are kritharth law FEST management fest. And also except this fest MUN happens ICDCIT for the project happens every year in my college.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Since it is a private college. It's fee is very high when we get admitted in 2015 total expense of the college is 12 lakh which include all the fee tution fee hostel fee mess fee etc. But after 2016 total expense increases to 18 lakh. Its a very expensive college but yes every penny is worth to pay. Hostel food are also good and healthy to eat.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarship are available for the students whose rank is less than 500 in kiitee exam and also for the student who are top three of the batch of every branch in engineering. And apart from the scholarship there are various banks in the campus who give loan to student for both academic and hostel fee.
Campus Life
Gym, Sport center, swimming center are available in the college but for everything to use you have to pay money it's not free but yes fee is nominal. Labs are available for all the students who wants to do anything. It is opened till morning.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel are very good. Both AC and non AC hostel are available in AC hostel two type of room are available two seater and three seater whereas in non AC there is only three seater. Room quality for non Ac is also very good and washroom cleaned every day. And one of the best this is mess food is very good.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes, one of the best thing about this college is alumni. In every sector and in every company there is kiitian (what we call ourselves) starting from google to facebook to topper of IES 2018 in every area we are there.
Exam Structure
Exams here happens in parts like 20 marks mid sem and 20 marks are internal and next 60 marks is end sem exam and grades calculated by adding all the number. If any student got back or leave exam then they have to appear in summer or with the same session back papers.
Admission
Applying online. It's application form are available from January and available till march. Everyone who want to get admission must go through KIITEE. It's examination happen somewhat between april third week to may first week. Then they announce result in last week of may. And then counseling happen about which university already inform eligible students. They have to come with INR75000 DD in which 10000 is counseling fee(which is non refundable). After allotment of seats according to rank admission happens.
Faculty
Faculty are outstanding here. But not all same as every college 50% faculty are very good who teaches very well and on other hand 50% are not good who uses projector for whole courses. But yes if you want to study every teacher is available for every student. If you want to study you can consult subject specialist.
