Likes

good people atmosphere and willing to help mindset
good food and there are 2 canteens and very cheap
very nice envirnment and very calm surrounding

classes are bad very dirty dusty and not very clean
dome teachers are very bad at teaching and not good
the fact that there is only one break in a day

very good teaching and study materials provided helping us to pass the the semster exams and good relevance since our knowledge is increseing and also library adds up a great value to us it is very big

86000 for management 1000for sc and st 34000 for merit 4year course payment once in a year very good staff quality teaching good environment calmfully atmospher and willing to help teachers situated in main road

Campus Life

very good campus but the classes are average and very dirty fans are very dusty and not clean but classes are very big and collge is very nice and has a very calm and peacefull surrounding and enjoyable environment

Admission

good collage it is govt college actually it is semi govt and provides good placements and we get quality education and they have very good frst like cultaway which is conducted onece in a year and it is very enjoyable

Faculty

faculty is good but not too great some are very good in teaching but some are bad at teaching and also behaviour is vrry nice to students and i like them very much there are 2 series test in a semster and one main ktu exam

Night Life

nightlife around college capus is when we have programms which are conducted in campus according to arts fest freshers day etc and there will party and dj party etc like that which is very enjoyable and

OUR COLLEGE LIFE

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA

I choose this college because it has vibrant campus life and freedom.It also has good placement records,good pass percentage. I also took due to distance advantage.This college also has good faculty, teaching. Although the campus is small, the infrastructure is well maintained. It has well structured labs.I also looked for cet, Trivandrum but I didn't get it because of my keam rank. The exam accepted for the course is keam and most of the students prefer it. Students can also join this college by nri quota without any entrance exam by giving more fees.I got admission in ece in sctce in the keam 1st allotment itself....Read More

A look inside Sct - Campus life, Academics and more

The main reason I chose this college was because this as under the Government of Kerala. It is held jointly by both government and ksrtc. This the standard of teachers will be better than other private colleges and campus life would be better as well. I have gotten confirmed admission from Amritha University and FISAT. I chose Sct because of the above given reason and also because of its location in trivandrum. I had applied to both Cet and Gect but I didn't pass the cutoff. The admission price for SCTCE is through KEAM which is held by the government of Kerala.
