Course Curriculum Overview

The aspect that influenced me to choose electronics and communication is that i can go software and hardware field This curriculum prepares well for real world applications Timing of exams is good and manageable

Class Size: 69Course Fees: INR 65000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

If the student has lower castes he/she should only pay 5000 per year If the student gets admission via normal quota he/she has to only pay 40000/- per year If the student gets admission via management quota he/she has to only pay 65000/- per year

Campus Life

Almost every annual and technical festivals are held at college by the Union teams like college day and ethnic day (February /march) onam, Christmas, freshers party etc Every classroom got projectors and cameras for safety

Admission

I chose this college because it is the nearest engineering college from my home and it is easy for transportation daily Admission process was simple and wasn't time consuming. Eligibility to get admission to this college is to get a good rank in keam

Faculty

Faculties are very approachable There are 2 series before a sem Exam Faculties here have a good ratio with students Most of the faculites here are young aged so they maintain a good relation with students

Night Life

A couple of gyms are there in the college locality There are many cafeterias and hotel around the college College has a green campus and has a beautiful viewpoint behind the college Locality is safe to roam around at night

OUR COLLEGE LIFE

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Is engineering here worth it?

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
