Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is good enough and is up to date. Everything that is going around the world right now with new emerging technologies are taught to us so that students are industry prepared . Placement classes are sometimes take to ensure how to achieve a good placement. Teaching methods are good and students would find it helpful for their career
Internships Opportunities
The internships provided by the college are good. It helps the students become industry prepared. Students are sometimes given placement classes which gives them an idea about how interviewers going to question.
Placement Experience
Placements in our college is decent . Computer science students have to face a lot of competition since there are a lot of students compared to other branches . They say 90% students get placed . Highest package of our college was 63lpa and average was 7lpa
Fees and Financial Aid
The year wise fees that us the students would have to pay is almost 500000 rupees . The tuition fees is about 175000 and the admission fees was about 75000 out of which 65000 would be refunded to the students if they didn't opt or have changed their mind to join any other college they preferred. One other compulsory charge is that students have to pay 1000 rupees before semester exam. Hostel fees is about 28000 for non ac and 50000 for ac and 60000 for premium rooms ( have attached toilet with them) . Messi fees is 25000 and washing machine fees is 500.
Campus Life
The college campus life is quite good. Though you have to face restrictions in your first year but when you get to 3rd semester it lightens up. The cultural fests are quite good and enjoyable. There are a lot of societies that students can take part of
Hostel Facilities
Hostel is decent. Ac hostels provide Acs and non ac hostels provide spacious and airy rooms . Premium ones have their bathrooms attached . With every hostel mess is present . The meal quality is almost good but during Mondays and Thursdays the food sometimes become uneatable
Admission
Few other colleges that I applied to was SRM Chennai and VIT Velore , i chose KIIT UNIVERSITY since it is near my home and less travel expenses would occur . The admission process is quite simple , going to the official site of the college and apply for the exams and when you qualify u will be able to choose your branch and they will contact you for further procedures
Faculty
The faculties are highly qualified with most of them passing out from top 5 IITs . They are extremely helpful , if a student is interested in doing some project or any research works they are well guided by the teachers. Every semester has two main exams one of 20marks which is the midsem while the other one with 50 marks which is the end sem. Few faculties take vivas during normal class hours . Quizes are held 3-4 times for each subject .
Night Life
The night life here is quite good. Outside of the campus in the evening is crowded. The food courts are good and they provide anything you want to eat . We have a huge Central Library and each departments have thir own library . The sports facilities are good with every campus having A gym . The locality is safe to roam around at night
