The college is very good. It gives all the necessary guidance that is required for building a good personality.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course offered by JIMS kalkaji cover syllabus, which is itself provided by IPU , for practical subjects we have well managed labs with proper set of computers. Teachers teaching lab subjects are also very experienced one. With the subjects mentioned in syllabus pattern our college also focusses on the personality development.

Placement Experience

The placement cell of our college invites lots of companies every year. Well reputed companies contact to the college like amazon etc.

College Events

College is equally good in extra curricular activities. Lots of events are celebrated in the college during an year. 1) for fresher's fresher party is organised. 2) In each semester , at least one industrial visit is conducted and 2-3 guest lectures for sure. 3) ZEST & DANDIYA took place ( all the branches of JIMS are part of it) 4) anugoonj ( first all ip students ) 5) star night 6) college fest.. and many more

Fee Structure And Facilities

The total fee of college includes tuition fee, development fee, examination fee, and other small expenses ( miscellaneous ) A well-reputed college is always found with good amount of fee as well, the fees taken by our college are, in brief, has the base fee set by university + the examination fee + sundry expenses.

No, I have not opted for any scholarship or education loan so far. College follows the specified fee structure.

Campus Life

Our campus has a good ratio of males and females, people from different backgrounds, different religions, and different casts ate part of JIMS and always treated equally. Everyone gets an equal opportunity to perform. The college has a set of several societies as well.

Alumni/Alumna

College seniors are very friendly and helping in nature, there are always ready to help us out in one way or another.

Admission

I am pursuing b.com(h) from this institution because if we check the ipu b.com (h) college ranking , this college secure 3rd position in that sequence. College hast 2 shifts , each shift has 60 students on an average. College has well qualified teaching staff.

Faculty

All the faculties of the college are very friendly with every student. If we talk about their qualifications, so I must say that the faculty is well qualified and can supervise or guide any student in the right direction. College hast all together with a good set of teachers.

Shyam lal college not on my wishlist

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

Dyal Singh College: The Good, The Bad and The Confusing

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.

I hdd 90.89 percentile in my CAT 2024 and 93.18 percentile in XAT 2025. These are very good scores and make a candidate like me eligible for top B-schools. I converted a lot of B-schools but around the time of admission I struggled with a few medical reasons and the fact that most of the B-schools were very expensive. Truth about jims kalkaji

The eligibility of the course is to have 50% minimum marks in your undergraduate. The application form, fees, and any other information regarding admission are available on thier admission portal.
