Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course is extremely relevant as we get the overall knowledge of all the fields in Commerce assignment we study law, finance , accounts, management and marketing all in the same course. We get to know the real world through the courses we study by solving case studies based on it. Improvements can be made by making it less subjective and more practical. We have examinations twice a year and there are extremely easy to pass.

Internships Opportunities

4

Our college provide lots of internships opportunities to students from NGOs to multinational companies giving offers. Companies like PWC , Careers360 etc provide internships with stipend upto 20k. Mostly the projects are very simple like creating presentations, college reviews, and data entry which one could easily do with basic knowledge about the subjects.

Placement Experience

4

After 4 semester students are eligible for placements in my college. Companies like PWC, KPMG, Deloitte, Swiggy etc provide placement opportunities for 250-300 students. Highest package goes upto 24 LPA whereas average package ranges between 5-6 LPA. Only 30% students get placed in a batch . I plan to go for higher studies after graduation.

Fees and Financial Aid

The Annual fee for this year was around 18000 and it includes all the categories like tuition fee, labs fee and also. We just have to pay extra examination fee before every semester examination and departmental fee with is decided by your department heads. All the categories have to pay the same amount of fees. Scholarships are only provided to Economically weaker students and one with category certificate like ST, SC, OBC. There is no scholarships for general category students.

Campus Life

4

Reverie and Zistatva is the annual fest held in the month of February and October in our College. My college has double storey library with large collection of all the books and journals and one can easily get them. The classroom are well equipped with smart boards and projectors. Our college has basketball court, badminton court and volleyball court. Even we have cricket ground also. Student council of our college do run social groups on Instagram through which they help NGOs and clean the environment.

Admission

I have applied for BHU other than this and even I got admission there also but I opted for Gargi College , DU because because it the most renowned University for Commerce in India. No , I didn't faced rejections from any other college. We got the admission based on our CUET-UG results and the cutoff are extremely high for Commerce and Arts course and one can easily pass it they have studied well in class 12th.

Faculty

5

1-50 is the faculty-student ratio in my college. The faculty of my college are very humble and easily accessible and they are very friendly and helpful. I like Raman Ma'am who teaches law because she is highly talented and well spoken and I even like Geeta Ma'am who very sweet. I like the faculty of Commerce and Arts department. I don't like the faculty of Science department as they are very rude. We have examinations twice a year and they are very easy one could easily pass them without any trouble. 1-3 students only fail in examinations. The course is extremely relevant and it follows the latest syllabus prescribed by NEP.

Night Life

3

We don't have gym in our college and library and public areas are open till 5pm. We donot have hostel facilities in our college and the campus is open till 7 Pm. Nescafe is the area were mostly girls of my college hang out and outside the college which have a cafe where mostly students have they time. The locality is not so safe to roam around in night as it becomes very lonely in night.

Other Applied Colleges

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

The placement is quite good the percentage of students is not same always it changes but only those students with proper knowledge, experience, skills get good placement. There is a proper placement cell for this which is very active. Prepare for government exams (SSC, UPSC, etc.) Go for higher education (PG, B.Ed., MBA, etc.) Enroll in skill-based or professional certification courses outside college

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...
