We are currently studying in CBCS system with a new syllabus and though the syllabus is vast , we can learn many new things , theoretically and practically. The college not only focus on the current course but the put a syllabus that is helpful for us for further studies.

Not internships but our college provide Post graduation diploma course on tissue culture in department of Botany where enrolled students can get 3000 INR / month. No such so called internship is provided by the college.

There is no placement cell present in the college but the post graduation diploma course is very helpful for the student to get a job or find some work. As other government colleges no placement is guaranteed.

Saraswati Puja 5.Birthday of Shri Ramakrishna Paramhangsa dev. 6.Birthday of Rabindranath Tagore 7.Independence Day 8. College foundation day 9.University foundation day 10. College sports day 11. Annual prize giving ceremony etc.

Fee is little higher than some government institutes. For B.Sc it is around 10000 rupees per year and for M.Sc it is 17500 rupees per semester. Exam fees may be taken from B.Sc students. Extra charges can be charged for uniform.

The Ramakrishna Mission merit cum means scholarship is available for the students where students can get 2500 rupees per month. Other some scholarships also available.The number criteria and economical status is a important factor to earn a scholarship.

Labs are extremely good with modern and new instruments. All chemicals are available that are needed. More numbers of Microscope is available than the number of students.Library is very rich. eLibrary is also available. Library is accessible with a smart college card.Students can take sports equipments from the college.College has its own gym. Photography competition and other competitions also held.

Hostel is present in the campus but only for school students of Ramakrishna Mission. No hostel facility may available for college students. But there are many Paying guests and Mess near college where students can stay.

Alumni network is very strong and active. They always give hand in development of the college. Seniors are very helpful and very friendly. They help the juniors every time when needed and guide them.

Exam is taken in two parts. At the Mid way of every Semester there is a "Mid Semester examination". At the end of the semester "End Semester examination" is taken. Practical examination is taken only during End Semester.

I filled the online application form from the college website and give 500 rupees examination fees. Exam was held on July. Within 1 week results are published. After 1 week documents were verified and I got admitted.

The faculty are highly educated. Everyone has doctorate degree and many of them are crowned by post doctorate degree as well. They are very helpful and give enormous effort to the students. They always teach new things to the students.
