SIMCA review

No negatives about my college. All the things provided by SIMCA are really very good. It is the only college which works only 5 days in a week. We have got ample of time to study and do fun as well.

The course curriculum is very sorted. In first year you get to learn everything about finance, marketing, hr, etc. In the second year you need to decide about your specialization. The curriculum designed is going to be useful for all SIMCAians as we have also subjects like corporate grooming and students training program which grooms children for the market.

Yes, Simca do provide intership to each and every student. The internships are generally paid ones. We get to know and learn lot many thigs from these internships. We have summer and winter both internships along with some live projects.

The placements are centralised, so one have to be on toe for getting selected for a particular job. All the companies coming for campus drive are well known companies like Delloite, cognizant, lawrence and mayo, uber, big bazaar and many more.

Simca has a very famous cultural event called Sinhgad Karandak which includes dance, singing, fashio show, mr and miss sinhgad and many more. We also have Spectrum which is a b-school event. It includes quizes, presentations, case study analysis and many more interesting games.

The fee structure of simca compared to other mba colleges is feasible. For 2018-20 batch it is 1,30,000 per year. It includes your library charges,development charges and some few charges. If you are a reserved category student you have to pay less fees around 70,000.

One can get benefits of scholarships and freeships if he/she has taken admission by giving CET exam through cap round. The students do get scholarships based on merits. As i have taken admission through ATMA i dont avail any scholarship. But there are many schemes like drough area students were exempted from paying exam fees. We have EBC policy in which students are asked to pay only 50% fees.

Simca has a very good library, computer lab, and many sports team. We have girls and boys cricket team, volley ball team and many more teams. Every month we have at least one of the extra curricular activity. If not activity, students are either send for live projects which gives us a very good experience.

The hostel infrastructure and other facilities are quite good. Other facilities include wifi connection, parking, security, canteen facility, purified drinking water, etc. In one hostel room 4 girls can accomodate. The hostel is properly ventilated with proper toilets and water supply.

The alumni network is very strong of Simca. We have many alunmis working with good companies on good posts. They help us during placements and internships. Alumnis suggests the faculty about the current market needs and try to make us aware about those things.

Simca has continuous evaluation method. We have internals, mid term and end sem for each semester. For internals we have presentations, assignments, open book tests. We also have online examination.

I got asmission in this college by giving ATMA exam. But I would suggest to each and every student who wants to do MBA from good colleges, always give CET exam. Because people giving CET gets lot of discount in their fees. So afterthe exam I got my result, i got a message from the college saying that my name is shortlisted for mba in this college. Then i went to college, showed the message as acknowledgement and got admission.

The faculty of Simca is the best. All the teachers are very helpful and approachable. They use various teaching techniques depending upon the topics for explanation. The classes are always interactive. Teachers not only teaches the portion but also discusses about the current affairs though it be a match, or any incident.
