Remarks
For Mtech it is not that good because they are not providing the 100% placements. Along with that for electronics and telecommunication students does not get job in core companies. So we have to switch to IT jobs.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is pretty good. But it has been better if the mtech were the specialized in certain area, as now it is generalize that is in electronics and telecommunication. Also the grading system is very strict and you have to struggle a lot for the good score
Internships Opportunities
Yes they provide internships In very good industries. Also the stipend is good around 15 to 20k. So it is very good to the internship so we get the good industrial exposure that is how they works and what exactly the industries wants from their employees.
Placement Experience
Placements for mtech at symbiosis are not that good because the intake is not that much also the seats remain empty due to the general mtech. Also the placements are pretty good for the btech of the symbiosis Institute of technology.
College Events
Their are many events celebrated in the college. Their are reverb cultural feast where different events are their. The another fest is a technical fest which is having very good technical events for each and every department of the engineering.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees are very high as compared to the other institute. For middle class families it is very high. As I'm also taking loan from the bank. Because for 2 years the fees for mtech Is around 4lakhs plus.
Fees and Financial Aid
The scholarship is their for the students who comes in the merit list and they provide around 40 percent of the fees as scholarship. So it is very helpful if we score very good in the academic. Also the amount is good enough.
Campus Life
Their are not extra curricular activities as much. Because the attendance is compulsory 75 percent. So no other activities happen that much. Also some sports events happen but at the same time lectures are going on so it's very hectic to do both things simultaneously.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel infrastructure is very good. The food facilities In hostel are very good. The hygiene is very good at the hostels. Also their are some set of rules and regulations so we have to follow that rules and regulations.
Alumni/Alumna
Don't have the clear idea about the alumni but the senior students are very helpful in every manner. As they give us the information related to exams and other activities. Also they give information about the industries.
Exam Structure
The exam structure is pretty good. As they are having the well established exam Department. The exams are mainly based upon the application oriented in every aspect. Along with that the exams are not for much days so it's good that exams gets over in few days.
Admission
First step is to register for the mtech program by paying registration fees. The next step is online entrance test which is held at symbiosis institute of technology followed by personal interview. The last step is to get admission by paying fees.
Faculty
The faculties are all PhD's. In The department of electronics and telecommunication all the faculties are so nice that you can ask for them at any time. Also the way of teaching is very good as they teach as in industrial oriented. So it gets good exposure to industrial work
