My College

Basically I love physics and is nore inclined to the semiconductor part.. I have always found it amazing and explorable like horizon. The curriculum prepares us not exactly in an industry ready manner, but we will be equipped with almost all the basics upon which we can build on the rest as we climb up.

From 7th sem onwards we will be having placement drives. Average package offered by companies are quite low compared to CET, almost around 4lakhs per annum in an average. Almost 50% of students are always getting placed.

Year -wise fees is around 7k. I had one scholarship for the first two years. Then I didnt renew it so I lost it. Payed from my own account for the remaining years. Tution fees is around 7 thousand. I got the college seat through general category only.

As a whole, the campus is amazing. We have many spots at which we spent our leisure times. We had many programs at our first couple of years, then we didnt actually did anything till now. We have Agneya happening around the summer.

I have applied for CET and GECBH. I was happy when i got a seat here because its nearer to my home as im in Trivandrum. Easy to travel . And most importantly a govt. College . I got admitted in general category and got admission in the first day itself.

Faculty to student ratio will be around 1: 15 in a way. Faculties are approachable and caring towards students. They try their best to clarify our doubts and solve our needs.That one faculty who is worth mentioning is our beloved Beena Ma'm . She was always a motivation and a shade for us.

As our college is right at the centre of the city, we have all necessary stuff nearby. Nightlife can be heavily enjoyed as we can go to nearby spots like museum or palayam etc. and we have really good shops, cafes etcnearby.
