Course Curriculum Overview

The new 2024 scheme focuses more on the practical knowledge. They encourage you to concentrate on online courses apart from your college curriculum. They peven provide internships for your experience. In fact the first 2 semesters is having a very tight schedule. You get an option to enroll for challenge courses which is basically minus one semester.You can challenge the university and complete next eemester exams.

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 40000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The tuition fee is 40000 per year for the general category merit seats. For management seats the fee is around 75000.Almost all scholarships are available for the students. One of those scholarship is egrantz in which you get almost 23000 as scholarship for the general category

Campus Life

It is one of the colleges in kerala that pffers the best campus life. Programs are conducted frequently in this college. Sports department is the finest among other institutes.we have the annual sports and cultural fest,tech fest , management feat.

Admission

The college is pretty good.It comes under KTU University.I chose this college because it offers good placement in ckmputer science engineering and provides option for self improvement by providing us with various courses.

Faculty

The faculties have a very friendly approach to the students.CSE of all other branches have the best faculty.In a semester excluding the end semester exam you have two series exams of 40 marks each which will be added to your internal marks.

Night Life

College offer a best night life experience. There are cafes and gyms gery close to the campus. Thalassery beach and other food spots are inly a 10 minute drive from the college.even the famous drive in beach in kannur is very nearby tk the campus

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Is engineering here worth it?

Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
