Remarks

This college is in my own district. So iam a dayscholor. I love traveling so I think this college will be a great option. And i want computer science ,thalassery is best option compare my rank of keam.

Course Curriculum Overview

Computer science provide wide opportunities in world. There are somany job opportunities. Future world is full of ai technology so computer science students have wider opportunities. I like this course very much.

Internships Opportunities

Visiting companiss are increasing yearly. Infoys, TCS, HCL, WIPRO, IMPQTIVE, CAPGEMINI, NEST DIGITAL, KLADER, CYBROSIS, EXPERION, MAR LABS, AMAZON etc companies are visit our college.College give entrepreneur ship training and startup plans.

Placement Experience

My college provide many college placements. And in college have a group to discuss about placements. Placement cell also provide in our college. Highest average package is 600000.Minimum number of students getting placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

Course fee is 40000.pta fund is 6000. Cultural fund is small. Management quota is 70000.And some additional fund.Total fund for a merit student is 50680.There are some scholarship like e-grantz, green environment etc.

Campus Life

The college events are average compare to other college. But such interesting events are conducted by union. And also sports, ethinic, college day, union day etc events are conduct. Somany clubs is in this college.

Faculty

Exam system is good in this college. And some faculties are friendly. Faculties are well educated and good teaching. Student-faculties bond are very strong. Some faculties are very rude i don't like them.

Night Life

Iam not hostler. So i dont know about night life. My hostel friends told its nice. Night time is 10pm. There are somany place in thalassery to explore. The place is very safe because the villegers are good.

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Is engineering here worth it?

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
