An Honest Review of My college Experience

I choose this course for Strong algorithm, data structure and programming , opportunities for hands on project, internship and industry collaboration . It has a lot real world application like it offers elective courses on emerging technologies , making graduates industry ready. For improvement it should collaborate with more tech companies and more industry oriented projects . It is little bit difficult for facing exams specially for each even semester due to lack of time

Parala Maharaja Engineering College, Berhampur has a dedicated Training and Placement cell to assist students in internship and job placements. The training and placement cell helps students connect with companies offering internships. PSUs like NTPC, NALCO, OHPC, and DRDO are providing internship opportunities for the students.

After 5th semester students become eligible for campus placements. There are many companies visited to our college like Tata,Wipro, TCS, Infosys and Accenture etc . Our highest package in computer science is 1200000 per annum and Average package is 500000 per annum. Percentage of students getting placement is actually varies by year and course and average 40 to 50% students get the placement offers . My plan is qualifying gate with a good rank and do my higher study mtech.

I have to paid almost 60000 to 70000 per a year for both college and hostel ...no tution fees and caution fees but the registration fees is 30000 per year for all categories and there is a scholarship of 20000 per year is provided to all students.

There are many events and technical festivals held in our college generally at the end of the year , winter time . Arena sports is the largest annual sports held in our college in this , a lot of technical event also held like code war and debate. And the largest function held in our college named as exuberance.our library has a wide range of books and journals including online resources. The library is open access and provides a variety of services to support students academic needs.

In our hostel, each room is for 2 students providef bt bed , matrices, table , chair and a self for each students . We have three time meal per a day with different recipes for each meal and the quality of the food is okay. Hostel registration process is very simple after admission in college we have to apply for living in hostel then after room allotment we have to deposit the basic documents then we can stay in the hostel.

I applied for this college and I got confirmation for admission from this college . I choose this college over other colleges because as per my jee ranks this college was best . No I didn't get any rejection cause my 1st choice was this college. The admission process is very easy , once have to qualify jee or ojee entrances to get a seat from this college and as per our rank we a get a seat . If we have a better rank we can get a seat in computer science otherwise you can prefer as per your choice which branch you are comfortable.

All facilities are good . My department is computer science and engineering. All my department teachers are very supportive so students and teachers relationship are very good for each 5 students there is a faculty member whom with we can share our all things like our problem and achievements so I like my CSE faculty . There are two semesters of 100 marks per year and each semester have two internals of 15 marks each so total 4 internals and 2 semesters of a year .

There is a lot of memorable moments in night in hostel . In our hostel campus there is an open gym field in which student spend their valuable times and our college campus timings is 6pm . In our hostel there is a badminton court, where we play badminton at night and day time student hangout at utility area. We also play table tennis is the hostel.
