Parala maharaja engineering college, Berhampur

There are a lot of oppertunities in the course civil engineering such that you are eligible for any government job and civil engineering is going to be very good in the future. This course has taught me a lot and will continue to teach me more One should study engineering mechanics which is going to be very less in civil engineering in life. The timing of the exam is appropriate according to its difficulty level.

Students get a chance to appear in placements from the 7th semester onwards. Companies like antony waste handling cell limited,MRF tyres Ltd,biraja construction,jai balaji group hetero Labs Ltd etc. 50 percentage of students getting placements. I would prefer to prepare for civil services after completing my degree.

The total fee for the 1st year amount is 39,900. The development fee is 7000, laboratory maintenance fee is 1500, registration fee is 3000, university fee is 3500, students activity fee is 1500, internal examination fee is 1800,site visit fee 600, training and placement fee 5000,caution money 2500 and alumni fee is 1500. Scholar ships like e-medhabruti,post matric and krushi nidhi yojana are available for students.

There is a fresher's party for new arrivals, branch wise party and farewell party too. There is a facility of chairs and tables for sitting in the class,along with white boards there is also a digital board,proper lighting and air conditioner. There are 2 grounds for sports,many sports are played like cricket, football, kabbadi, running, basketball, volleyball and many more. There are also many clubs like music club, robotics club,art association clubs etc.

The hostel rooms are very nice.3 people live in one roomand comes with 3 beds along with a study table and chair. The hostel meal is very good .we serve 3 times a day: breakfast,lunch and dinner.each one is made up of different items. At the time of admission it is asked whether you will take hostel or not,then hostel is allotted to whoever gets the room.

Based on my jee rank, I had given preference to colleges like parala maharaja engineering college,OUTR and VSUT.In the second round,I got the branch I wanted in pmec. I didn't get any rejections,I just put in the preference what I wanted. Admission is available through both jee and ojee rank.whatever the cutoff of the branch,you will get it if you come.

The faculty of this college is very intelligent and they treat all the students equally. Mr Sudharshan sahu is our best faculty,he teaches english and because of his experience of so many years,he teaches very well and with fun. Everyone is afraid of Mrs nilima mam not because she is very strict but she teaches us engineering mechanics,which can be said to be a tough subject. There are 2 semisters in a year and there are 4 internals in each semister.the exam is not difficult but it will definitely seem difficult to those who do not study anything.

This campus looks more beautiful in the evening than it does during the day. There is also a library here which closes at 5 pm and there is also a gym facility which runs till 9pm. In the girl's hostel, students cannot go out after 6 pm but boys can go till 9pm. It is completely safe,there is no problem of anything here.
