Course Curriculum Overview

I love to work in the field of technology and I love you code and explore new booking programming languages. I helps me to improve my knowledge on technology and the future of high-tech world . I personally love to improve some parts of programming core .

Fees and Financial Aid

I was joined as a nri student so I had to pay 1 lakh along with all the admission and everything . I am not able to get any scholarship since I am nri catagory. My friend is a merit based student she have scholarship

Campus Life

Campus is good but it can be boring sometimes but they provide cultural program to make it boost up . The lab is good and facilitate is ok . The sports is super they have been providing many sports activities for both men and women . They are many social club like Mulearn hackathon and manymore

Admission

College is near to my house and I have my known ones who had passout from there and I know the college very well . I personally didn't reject any college. The admission process is very notable because they provide students with higher score for branch like cse it ece and exams like jee keam is written 15k is needed min for merit seat of cse

Faculty

Faculty is very friendly and they act as a friend but also keep as a role of a great teacher . I personally like smruty miss who teaches maths . I dislike a teacher reni who teaches programming core . Recently I faced difficulties in maths graphics and python . The question is python is like wright a malayalam exam i personally didn't like it

Night Life

It is very peaceful and quiet with winds roaming through the leaves of forests and the timing is ok like first it was 9.00 then it is 9.30 but I preferred 9.00 better . The famous hangout is the alumni frame

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Is engineering here worth it?

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
