Our Total year of college is 5 years and for each year we used have 2 semester examination and we have 2 mid semester examination and the examination are harder were people clearing this will get definitely place in good advocacy field

Internships Opportunities

There a committee for Internship were the students from college were doing it volunteer were that committee people used give updates about the internship to the people who are new the law background and that's very useful

Placement Experience

Students are eligible from 5 semester for placement and college used to select 5 students from each course and will give placement in reputated companies like Infosys , Bajaj and Im a Upsc Aspirant and I'm aiming for clearing JAG

Fees and Financial Aid

Yearly Fees: Rs.85,000 (General) Scholarship: SC, SC(O), ST - Rs.46,000 7.5 Reservation - Full Free First Graduation students: Rs.46,000 Education Loans are also available for the other community students these scholarships are very useful for the students

Campus Life

Our college surrounding is very comfortable were student from different states are studying in our college and we can't see any student treating the other students differently and college id facilitated with different committee like MUN NCC NSS MOOT court associations and club like Rotary

Admission

I got Admission in National law university Maharashtra but the college fees structure was very high but my college fees so much affordable and tgey provide with many opportunities too and the environment is also good

Faculty

Actually the Teacher are really friendly with the students and there ready to clear doubts at anytime and they used providing study materials for studying if the students felt difficult in learning some set of students eho are new this curriculum is feeling to difficult to cope with the faculty but after years passing there are also getting into the track after practice

Night Life

College used to begin from 10.00Am and ends by 1.30 Pm afternoon and students who are interested cab visit library after college times and many students used to hangout with their friends to Phoenix mall and metro lines for there enjoyment

The placement of my college is not great when compared to other national law university but still better than some private colleges. Companies such as Trilegal, Argus has visited our college to recruit students. Though I plan on pursuing judiciary.

I don't know about placement. But I have heard that this college having the campus recruitment from various corporate companies. And personally know one of our senior got the job with the salary of around 80000 per month.

Placements are very mediocre. Few companies like Zoho, Agarwal, Etc visit for campus interviews but they offer less package. As for my knowledge maybe 2-5% get placed. I plan to practice as an advoca after graduating.

Remarks:

The Government Law College, Madurai is overall a good college. The infrastructure of the college is quite good. Faculty is also helping and skilled. Labs are updated and the library has a variety of useful books. The college is having a lot of facilities like hostel facility canteen facility sports etc.

Admission:

There's a form to be filled for admission in this course. One needs to mention all the details as asked in the form, which can be downloaded from the website, they need to attach a DD/cheque of INR 1000 and send it by post along with the form to the college's official address. The college wil communicate with regards to admission.
