Likes

The most favorite part of my college is the transport. Is feels safe and comfortable
Lectures tought in english medium and bilingual if necessary
Compulsory attendance for professors which ensures a proper teaching environment

Dislikes

Majority of hindi medium students. As a student who dont know hindi its difficult for me to connect
We have proper scheduled classes but some days i just one lecture but have to wait till 4pm for my bus
Few staffs in the enquiry section. Have to wait a very long que for simple things

Course Curriculum Overview

Exams are conducted regularly and the difficulty maybe 4 out of 5. We have many clubs and societies in our college which really shows us the world outside of book. For example iam a coordinator of MUN club. We debate on global issues try to find a solution.

Class Size: 26Course Fees: INR 60000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees per semester is 60,000 for my course and scholarship is around 40% if we score 80% in exams. The bus fees per semester is 24,000. Therefore the fees per annum is 84,000 excluding the scholarships.

Campus Life

We know delhi's weather conditions. Our university is completely air conditioned and even the buses. There are many clubs and societies. Many programs are pan university making sure every student has knowledge about every course.

Admission

I wanted to get in delhi university but my cuet results were not favorable. But i don't regret joing this university. Feel like maybe this was for the better. If i was in du i would maybe neglected for not knowing hindi but in krmu they really take steps to encourage every student

Faculty

I really like my course teachers. They are pretty cool and clam. You can approach them anytime we want and really understanding and helpful. As a student who dont know hindi, they really never make me feel leftout and make sure i understand.

Night Life

There are hostel facilities in our university but iam not aware of it as iam a days scholar. There are 3 canteens in total and the lawn is the best place to hangout in the winter. Campus is properly maintained

Before taking admission research about it

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did search for many colleges in gurgaon and noida but they approched me and asked to visit the college but that was my wrong decision I would say They will tell you that this is very less amount in this this course but after months you will know that they ask money only for small things the whole college needs to be improved this college is only good for the people who can afford a lot of money in Every 2 months they take exams which is unit exam and after 1 months the main exam in which the unit exams are very easy but the last exam the final one they take are very different and difficult Don't know from where they make that exams

JGU is delightful place!!

Placement Experience:

EY, JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley and all other companies which defies international economics are the ones which recruits students of JGU. Theh even conduct seminars and workshops and tells us the things which we need to add in our arsenal to be fit and ready for placements. Jindal Students of Economics easily score placements worth 5-7 lakhs and nearly all the students who wish for placements gets it too.

OPJGU: Not my first choice, but definitely the right one

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is highly relevant and comprehensive, according to me. The core courses that are mandatory for a student to take are highly relevant and necessary in order to develop the relevant skills and knowledge in that specific domain of the field. Electives on the other hand, are a student's choices and may or may not be relevant directly to the course one is studying. The university offers a wide range of electives and the electives are also taught by highly qualified professors across the 12 different schools of JGU. The end semester exams are either of 30 marks or 50 marks, depending on the course. Electives usually have a 30-mark end-of-semester exam for 1.5 hours. The exams are pretty easy and theoretical and contextual, unless the course one has chosen is strictly application-based and demands applications of theoretical frameworks. The core exams in the first and second year are divided across 50 and 30 mark exams and are often for 3 hours. The exams are pretty easy and theoretical except for the practicum courses, which are deeply application-based. The final year has very few core courses which are for 30 marks.

Remarks:

A well developed basketball court is being provided by the college so that boys and girls can freely and actively play and refresh their minds.It is a huge court .Students love to play here as it is the most fascinating sport.Boys and girls are given equal privileges in respect to the court.

K.R. Mangalam through my Lens
