My personal reviews regarding my college as a student

We faced no negativities during our clg tym the only thing that bothered us was when our cafeteria owner was replaced that doesn't matter much but to us it did a lot , except this everything went positive n great we had great times there the teachers , alumni , we got every possible support from seniors lovely juniors n everything

Its as per requirements n properly followed by our college , as provided under the norms laid by punjab university course curriculum is aacording to the requirements of the study being done. the quality provided here is incomaprable

I dont have any idea about this , as i have just passed my bcom n never thought of internship in my clg , except my experience i have heard about a few seniors who got job in our own clg after clearing ugc net

Placements and job opportunities provided by our college are partly appreciable some of the students have got really got placements , even one of our mates too got a great placement further due to which she was even sent abroad by that company each year a job fest is organised by our clg for students of the clg n even outsiders

As our clg is a girls college most of the festivals relating to women are always celebrated in our clg such as teej fest n many other seminars n fests also keep on taking place regularly one of the major one is youth festival organised by punjab university n others too such as econovista , tashan e basant , camps , nibhrant etc

Fee structure is also based on the rules n structure made n followed by punjab university earlier it was 21000 for one year which now has increased to around 25000 , not much expensive as compared to other universities according to me fees in our clg is feasible for a normal student

As our clg is one of the oldest n reputed girls clg in chd ,it always takes care of its weak background students n also appreciates its worthy students scholarships are provided to poverty ridden students n also scholarships are provided to the toppers each year

Majorly each year an annual sports day is celebrated in our college n also various clubs are a part of our clg which give very fine opportunities to the students , i was also a part of one such club which was the rotaract club which works for social causes , except clubs n sports department we have all kinds of labs in the clg such as chemistry, physics, computer , fine arts n fashion designing lab

Hostel facilities as compared to other colleges of chandigarh are far better all rules made by the authorities are followed by warden n other authoritarians , the best part is regular study schedules for the hostelers are made followed by the warden n infrastructure is very well furnished n maintained except infrastructure here u can have the best mess ever the food here is just fabulous

My seniors. yes one of the best part of my college life , luckily i got the best of them n so were we to our juniors , the best part of our college is that we got the best people there seniors are always very helpful n juniors are the most loving one's the only thing i will miss tbe most about my clg

Exam structure is according to the rules made by the punjab university the exams are divided in four main segments per year as each year is divided into 2 semesters each each semester contains once mst's (mid sem exams )n one final sem exams at the end of ecah sem

For admission to bcom in dscw chd we have to follow an online procedure under which we have to apply for centralized admission procedure as our clg is a part of punjab university after that a merit list is announced n further admissions are given on the basis of a common counseling held in a few rounds, where in from the provided college's we can choose the clg of our choice based on merits.

Best faculty one could get. the teachers are very supportive even where in some cases we have seen a lot of irresponsible faculty but the faculty at our college are more paintaking than students themselves
