A good college for graduates

College is overall good enough for the students. But there is a lack of practical knowledge to the teachers which should be improved. Students should be satisfied with all other things of the college. The best part of college is the celebrity night in college campus on epoque.

The course curriculum was good enough for me. There was a restriction of 75% attendance due to which we had to come to classes regularly. The curriculum focused primarily on theory rather than practicals. Practicals were very easy as compared to theory. In my opinion students should have more hands on practice through practicals as after studies these students join various industries where practical knowledge is required.

Yes, college provides internships to students with various collaborations from industries. I had got an internship in the college for which i had a stipend of rs. 4000 /month along with seating space, equipments required etc.

Most of the companies visiting the campus had a package ranging from 3-4 Lakhs per annum. Only some companies like kronos, ion trading, samsung visited which had a good enough package for the students ranging from 6LPA to 14LPA. The highest package was 14.29 LPA and the lowest package was 1.8 LPA. Average package for my year was 3.5 LPA.

Discussing about events in college, we had events all round the calander. Fees structure was feasible as compared to other colleges on similar level. It was 1.04 Lakh for every year. Hostel fees varies depending on rooms you have chosen. 1 seater in for 90000 per year, 2 seater is 80000 per year and 3 seater is 75000 per year

Loan facilities are not very good but college provides help from their side to get a loan by providing all the documents. Scholarship is provided by Uttar Pradesh government for economically weak students and it is around 60000 per year for hostellers and 50000 per year for day scholars. College also grants scholarships to students who have scored more than 75% in a complete year. Which ranges from 1000 to 10000.

Labs are well equipped with latest machines and equipments. Sports grounds are also well maintained by the college. Sports materials were eaisly available from sports room. Extra curricular activities were held all round the year and they gave a excellent platform to the students.

Hostel facilities were good enough for me. But there was always a complain for mess food menu. The food we were served was not tasty sometimes. The infrastructure of the college is small as compared to other colleges as there is no place for expansion of the college.

There is a online alumni portal named almaconnect which helps alumnus to connect to college easily. Almaconnect also helps students to get guidance, help and support from the alumni. Seniors in the college are very helpful. There is almost no ragging issues and seniors are very friendly.

We had to give 2 CT(Cumulative tests) and one pre-semester test. Which was counted in internals and for externals, we has to appear in university exam which was conducted by AKTU/UPTU Lucknow. Internal exams used to be of 50 marks total and external used to be of 100 marks total.

I applied for Uttar Pradesh state entrance examination and secured a good rank. After which i was given admission in this college. I had applied for counselling in which i had this college as my top priority for computer science. And i got a seat easily.

Faculties are hard working and helpful. They provide good quality education to the students in terms of theory. Faculties in first year are very good as compared to rest of the faculties in 2nd, 3rd and 4th year.
