I liked the climate and our college is so environment friendly. It has a very beautiful infrastructure.
Our college provide better water purifying system
Our campus is very clean. It's nature friendly

Dislikes

Our college is on a rural area so the transportation facility is poor
Since our college is in a rural forest area the attack and sighting of wild animals is bit scary
Our college is on a top of a mountain . Reaching there is quite risk for our students.

Course Curriculum Overview

My course is very nice and i like it so much. All the faculties try their best to communicate with us. My course is litte tough but i like to study about the circuits and systems. It's really interesting

Class Size: 74Course Fees: INR 16000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Thr total fees for a sem is around 8000-10000 depending on the exam fees. This fees includes the bus fees, sports fees, etc... Our college is government engineering college wayanad. Since it is a government college it doesn't have any other fees than the exam fees.

Campus Life

Our college conduct many programs and tech fest. Our art fest name is PRAGATHI and it's so cool. And oru college have many clubs and society like IEEE, GBOT, ORION etc... And qe conduct oru annual sports meet every year and the students participation is also good

Admission

Our college admission is through kerala engineering and medical entrance examination. I got a average rank so i choose this college. Because its a good college. I didn't say this is the best college. But it a good college. It provide all facilities for students and good placement opportunities

Faculty

Faculties are very friendly. Also they help us for everything. Their classes are so nice and interesting. I like all my facilities they are nice to me. Our college conduct two series (internal) exams for valuating our study. It's actually quite simple

Night Life

Our night life is so cool. We have a cafeteria, a gym, a ground... Thr gym timing is different for girls and boys. We have two ladies hostel and a men's hostel. Our hostel timing is 9.30pm for both ladies and mens.

OUR COLLEGE LIFE

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA

If you want to be in a controlled environment, focus on academics, make use of some good placement opportunities, and get somewhere career-wise I would be suggesting Amrita University.

College admission is purely based on our entrance score and the way we given the priority of college to get admission in college of engineering thalassery qe should attend keam entrance exam otherwise you can get into the management seats which will costs 1lakh per year.
